Regardless, our defense will more than likely be in the bottom 3 in the SEC and ranked in the 100s nationally after this week.

New coaches, young players......

Tennessee and Dooley will be scary GOOD in a couple years.

Dooley and Company have to grow and its things like this that will make that happen.

IndianVol, ever the optimist.

I think we'll be competing for SEC titles again in a couple of years, so if that is "scary good", then I agree with him.

You still can't spell loser correctly can you?

I'm not a lover of anyone, I'm a realist and I am able to use perspective (something you lack) to see the big picture with the team and coaches. You have a first year staff, filled with first year players, that is a bit short of talent, so to expect the '85 Bears, like you are, out of the team and staff, is unfair and unrealistic, so you're just a hater, like we've been saying to you, and that's fine.

Bad analagy. I don't think ANYONE will be accusing Justin Wilcox of being Buddy Ryan. I didn't expect Wilcox to be a miracle worker, but I do expect him to be prepared for chaotic situations and have the correct number of players on the field (which he has failed to do for at least 3-4 plays in the last 2 games). This week's personnel issues cost us a win. That is the brutal honest fact.

Actually it's the players who came in the game that are supposed to make sure the other players get off the field. Yea we might not have needed to sub at that time but its the players responsibility to get who they are replacing off the field

Actually...4 were sent on, 3 were coming off, with one of those 3 turning around. The coaches were still sending 12 men in leaving the team in the exact same situation.

I know it's the Dooley thing to throw players under the bus, but we don't have to go there when it's the coaches fault.

Is it Dooley or Wilcox's responsibility to get the players on and off the field.

I have NEVER heard of a head coach being in charge of getting personel on and off.

Les Miles was the one deciding the final play calling in the last minute for LSU. In the last minute and on all big 4th downs the ultimate responsibility rest on the Head coach for approving schemes. And its the HC responsibility to know how many players are on the field. I am sure TN was supposed to have someone counting them, but its Dooley's job to doublecheck in the last minute when the games on the line. I have seen other HC coaches call a timeout many times for not having the correct number of players on the field.
