shows his ineptness. Wasted valuable rep opportunities for Bray at the end of the game. HE NEEDS REPS COACH. HE IS A FREAKING FRESHMAN. Our timeouts should have been called at the end of the game so we got the ball back with 2.5 to 3 minutes left. Bray could have gotten experience running the 2 minute offense and worked on timing with his receivers. YOU CANNOT DUPLICATE A REAL GAME IN PRACTICE. INEXCUSABLE. Guy is an idiot!

What gets me is nobody on this board will admit that we had to settle on Dooley because nobody else wanted the job bottom line!!! We were turned down by numerous better qualified HC or assistants and it wasn't because of $$$$$$$$-trust me. So I will do what everybody else is doing, live with what we got and hope for the best.

P.S. Someone told me that Dooley isn't letting official visits by recruits during the season or is that just a rumor????? If so, that is about the stupidest thing I have ever heard of!!!!

I think the only reason Cutcliffe turned the job down was because he was friends with Fulmer.

Cut wouldn't really be successful here. He'd be the kind of guy who would be hard to fire in 4 years but would never win anything.

The staff is encouraging recruits to come in the offseason so they can actually spend time with them instead of recruits just being hosted around. It sounds like a good way to close to me. If you have been to one SEC stadium for gameday you have been to them all.

Shows what you know about Football. Did you see the score? It was time to get out of there. What if Bray would have gotten hurt, or some else. Then you would have said we should have ran the clock out.

Nobody wanted the job because it was 3 weeks before signing day. Every coach we went after had/has integrity and wouldn't leave their schools like what happened to us.

You answered your own post....these "qualified coaches" saw the damage that Phil did, and these "qualified coaches" wanted to walk into program, sweat a little, and be in the the national limelight. Dooley saw this for what it is....a tremdous opportunity that with a lot of hard work and a few years of recuriting, this will again be a top 5 program.

Even Phil was looking to land a gig at a program that was going to compete right out of the gate.

Bring on the armchair coaches!!!
Posted via VolNation Mobile

Are you kidding me?? Come on, we all know that most of the armchair coaches on here have had formal training. Hours and hours of playing NCAA Football on Xbox360 and recruiting all those studs they do on there. Get out of here with that.
