Dooley on radio....

It's hard for BCS football programs to be in contention for a national title when they aren't cheating buying players or any other way, there's no death penalty so cheating is going to happen, Dooley = not a cheater but a good person.

You have no clue. Dooley is not a "good dude". He is a complete arsss to staff and his perceived underlings! He talks down to people in the athletic department all the time!

He treats walk-ons like second class citizens. Six coaches did not leave after last season cause Dooley was a good guy. He acts like a child on the field and in the office.

Anyone "close" to the program will confirm what I am saying.

And you know all of this how? Are you "close" to the program? If not, stfu.

thank you.

I don't think it's necessarily that he's a bad person, from what I've been told, he's just extremely difficult to work with, and will ream you out if you aren't doing exactly what he thinks you should do. Just not an overall good people person, and pretty much a self-built smartarse. Again, this is just what I have heard.

My fraternity brother works in the AD and says Dooley is an ******* to most over there. I'd never share his name on here, but its common knowledge over there. I always laugh when people on here say he is a good guy

Is 104.5 (Nashville) part of the Vol Network? I don't think TSR is. Not sure if he can go on air with them contractually. Does anyone know?

Coach Martin is on tsn all the time! Sure Dooley could be on if he wasn't such a jerk! I will be in COLUMBIA to see if he can win a game!

He's a tool because he tells the truth? Justin Hunter and Tyler Bray are playing like a bunch of pussies. How many BIG plays has Justin and Tyler left on the field? Too many to count. Georgia and Miss St. games should have been wins but our two superstars played scared. I'm not saying Dooley should not be fired but if his "future" first round picks made half the plays that they could have then we wouldn't be in this situation.

Damn right. Best damn post on volnation yet. Nobody talks about the 3rd down plays that were left on the field becaus TB over threw a receiver or threw a pick or the dropped passes to extend a drive. The brunt of our problems lies squarely on the players shoulders. I agree with your whole post. It's time for Dooley to move on but these players have flat out choked when the plays were there to be made. No nuts. No guts. Dooley's only problem is he hasn't figured out how to make these guys believe they can win. Their good enough to have won 3 out of the 4 SEC games they played. But they didn't. Time to get a guy in here that can get these guys over the mental hump.

I listened. it was a pretty humorous interview. Although, i kinda started feeling sorry for Dooley bc they kept asking him questions about whether he thought he was getting canned and how could he defend his record.

Dooley also doubled down on his Bray comments. He said he has told Bray if he continued to turn the ball over he would play Woorley. I can't disagree with Dooley on that one.

Dooley did a very good job with some really tough pointed questions. It was entertaining.

Dooley= Attorney through and through

They are saying that they think Gruden will be next coach at Tennessee. Clay has a bet with Erin Andrews Clay says Gruden will be coach at Tennessee. Erin Andrews says Gruden next coach job will be NFL. I Andrews loses she has to sing Rocky Top with a Gruden shirt on. If Travis loses he has to cut his hair and shave a UF on his head.

if erin loses she has to sing rocky top with No clothes on! that sounds more like it:birgits_giggle::birgits_giggle::birgits_giggle:

haha...nope. Alfred?

Treece says he had 150+ former players ready to talk to these young men during practices trying to support the Vols, and never got a response...smdh

I think they've heard enough talking. They need someone to coach these Joes about some real X's and O's!

I hope Debbie Jennings is one of them. She seems very reliable. :)

That pretty much sums it up. I think CDD has the Saban 'blueprint' and knows what to do structurally but lacks that extra ingredient to pull it off. It is tough to show a team how to win but it is really tough to will a team to win. Before folks start attacking CDD, remember, it is very rare to find a guy that can con 70 18-21 year olds into believing they can conquer the world.
