where are all the 5 star defensive recruits going the last 2/3 seasons --- LSU - Alabama - UF -S Carolina ---- explain it Dooley -- you are not selling the program to 5 star players --

CDD has one winning season as a head football coach. IMHO, pigs will fly before he turns into the kind of coach we need to bring us back to the front.

More talent and more experience than last year.
Learning another new system might wash as an excuse, but I thought this was a no excuses season.
Teaching seems to be the problem and that comes under coaching.

I would just as likely prefer Dooley stay longer if we just go out and hire Dooley 2.0. If we can't hit a home run just keep what we have and hope for the best.

I agree. Why hurry and higher another dooley? I prefer to hire and wait for the best as we can get.

But then I don't think the fanbase will put up with another season like this one. idk

Am I the only one who thinks that Dooley was sorely missed on the sideline after his hip surgery? Dooley is the one leader we do have on this team. Now that he doesn't feel obligated to baby a five star nut-job, he is looking like a real coach. Well, he was until the docs got him. Working through a broken hip has to be more painful than a lot of the players' injuries, but there has been not one word of complaint or excuse. That means now is a good time for the "best fans in the world" to knife him in the back.

Midtnvol, the first part of my post regarding defense was directed at your comments and anyone who wanted to answer in general. The latter part was not directed at you or anyone in particular but simply my thoughts on what we need to do as a fanbase in terms of pulling together to support the team despite the adversity and possible questions about the coaching staff. Sorry for the confusion.
