If you don’t like find other team! Quit your whining and cheer for someone else and don’t ruin it for the rest of the fans who have a little sense!
The team was coached up and came out to play ball today. I think we missed our quarterback, but the only negative thing I’m willing to say is that even with Bray there needs to be this kind of commitment to the run. I know he’s awesome but there is no excuse to run the ball like this today and not in the previous games…more commitment to balance on offense!
Dooley said last year the team was 1s and 3s; well this year there’s some 1s, 2s, and 3s. The only problem is there are 2s playing in the 1s spot, etc. That said they all left it on the field today. The depth will come and I’m excited for the future. I think the problem is that Dooley has brought in talent and we, as fans, see that and get excited and expect too much. The team is beating teams they should easily due to that talent; we just have to build depth to win the others. Anyhow just my 2 cents…

Like this post. The seniors on this team was recruited by Fulmer. (You can see all our senior leadership) The juniors were recruited by Kiffin. (that is what's left of them) Dooley is the right guy for the job. When we do get all this turned aroiund and start winning and going to the SEC championship and winning it, i wanna know what you will grip about then.

I agree. I like that Dooley is intense, doesn't just clap all the time. I truly think he is a student of the game and learns and doesn't just "rest on his laurels".

I think that there are adjustments made and different strategies but he is just limited with what he's got to play with right now. I think he plugs holes and does what he can to reduce damage as much as possible.

In the latter Fulmer years, we just came out and did Fulmer's thing. If it worked, we won, if it didn't work, oh well, we did our thing and lost. No strategy, planning, halftime adjustments, probing defenses for weaknesses and exploiting, etc.

Dooley has no laurels on which he can rest.

It's nice to meet you Mrs. Dooley. :hi: But I agree.

wittenvols, were you pumped for the game, or did you expect us to get killed today? I expected the latter. Most fans are now like this. Fix problems and I'll support it, but keep hashing out the same !@#$ and I just SMH.

I wish Tennessee was 5-1 right now.

Wait a few years and Kiffin's team will be struggling, just like UT. Difference is, they're going down hill....

You calling me momma Dooley or Mrs. Dooley, lol

momma dooley, sorry

Completely agree with you though, can't wait until 2013 when Justin Hunter, Bray, Lane, Neal, Rogers, and Young are experienced. Young seems like he will break the curse and run punts for TD's

Fulmer stopped being a student of the game and rested on his laurels. Fulmer just did his thing, the same thing every game whether it worked or not and no matter what team was on the other side of the ball.

I don't see Dooley ever stopping being a student of the game.

I do not believe Dooley gets the boot given he is trying to build a destroyed program with no studs in the stable within the next 2 seasons....but if I was these 2 guys I would be very concerned about my job here in Knoxville....

I hope Dooley is successful. But, the cornerbacks are giving way to much up on quick screens. The O-line and backs looked a lot better and so did D. Young. Simms killed us on the ints. Depth is the biggest issue, also D-line did a A+ job. JMO!
