Dooley is over his head

How many years will hamilton give dooley to turn the program around?

he will be gone after his second year.3-9 this year and 4-8 in 2011. no recruits will come to the new vandy of the sec and then we will finally get a "real coach with a high profile background". hamilton has set the football program back 10 years

Yes, because Vandy attracts all of the top coaches.

I figure Dooley gets 3 years.....and Hamilton will be out the door with him

Dooltabby needs to have a come to jesus meeting with himself and soon.

I'll support TN football even when we suck so bad we are the laughing stock.

However having a coach who can't even get organized enough to know when top recruits are at our own O&W game is atrocious.

Also acknowledging a top 100 DE prospect as a WR is uncalled for.

Call me a negavol , call me what you want.

This isn't the WAC.

No problem, Fulmer was in over his head also, at least for the last decade, and his coaching background before U.T. was probably equivalent to the WAC. Btw, is Fulmer coaching anywhere now?

Fulmer only spent 1 year of his coaching career outside of the SEC...

And that was a quality year at a quality program, right?

just pointing out that he had more than WAC experience before he was the head coach

Dooley may have potential. Hambone's bet the UT program on it...

going 17-20 just doesn't instill alot of confidence

I think Fulmer coached at Wichita State for about five years plus one year at Vandy before U.T., so I don't think Wichita State qualifies as better experience than WAC experience. Maybe comparable experience, but he was only an assistant at that. And Vandy? Well......

you should look it up, you might learn something

It's APRIL, dood. APRIL.

Do you know how many commits Kiffin had in April last year?

I get the apprehension, but take a Xanax and find something else to follow if every single negative thing about recruiting gets you this bent out of shape.

EVERYBODY makes mistakes in recruting. Many of Urban Meyer's are well-documented. Richt has had many recent gaffes. Spurrier has been banned from certain HS's. Get over it!

This was taken from Wikipedia which I believe is a good source.
Fulmer served as linebacker coach and defensive coordinator for the Vols freshman team in 1973 before moving to Wichita State University the following season. He spent five years at Wichita State, where he coached the offensive line in 1974 and 1977–1978 and served as linebacker coach in 1975–1976. He followed those years with a one-season stint at Vanderbilt, serving as an aide to Commodores head coach George MacIntyre.

So, if that is correct, then YOU should learn something. Perhaps Fulmerites never learn though.

Fulmer took the program way down, then walked with millions, laughing to the bank!!! What a life!!!
