Dooley is just waiting on Peyton to retire

since he was an AD, is smart, unlike Hamilton, his wife is smart, OBGYN, and has a son named Peyton. when Peyton retires in a year or so, the prez will fire Hamilton and Dooley will become AD and move over for Peyton. And, with his law degree, keep kids out of trouble and we can start winning again. whew! wishful thinking, ehhh?

Yeah, there is no way Peyton is retiring soon unless it is medical. The guy is a machine who never gets hit, so that probably won't happen and I hope it doesn't either. He is definitely one of those guys who could play into his 40s. He is going to be a heck of a coach when he does retire though.

Yeah, I would like to see him play as long as he can as well. I am just trying to find a way to understand and dream that this is the reason. otherwise, i will continue to scratch my head about the hire. I will support him though, and hopes he can do good things here.

Peyton isn't close to retirement, and he will not coach UT or any major college program anytime soon after he retires.

why does everyone keep thinking peyton is going to retire in a year or two?

he's played only 12 years and is just as much in his prime as he has been; a good qb can play anywhere in the area of 18 years.
