*******Per UT, I don't think it likely we can consistently compete with pro-style recruits against our SEC rivals, so remain of the belief that we should go the "Oregon" route -- look for a creative/unusual offensive scheme where we can create a recruiting edge for a particular type of talent than stack our speed/size guys on defense (e.g. a hybrid of a Oregon or Texas Tech or Georgia Tech style offense and a Tuberville style defense). As long as we depend, as Dooley commented this week, on winning 1-on-1 talent match-ups, we will dip this decade below where we were the last decade by a substantial margin, imo.*******
IMO 2, why not use a schematic advantage if one is available? Hell that's what UF has been doing and did with the fake punt on Sat.
Pro Syle is fine, problem is we don't have that many "Pro-Style" players. Pro style relies on winning the 1 on 1's. We haven't been able to do that in 7 years, and don't see these 3* lining up and beating the 1 on 1 with Bama and Florida's 5*. In the 90's we out talented other teams, we don't have the roster for that anymore.
