Dooley Haters

I think Derek is doing a great with what he's got. Can't put all of the offensive woes on him, when our entire OL is full of sophomores/freshmen. He had the team adequately prepared for Saturday, "The Cat in the Hat" escaped with the win. Derek needs at least 3 years before anyone should throw in the towel on him.

I'm really sick of all this Dooley Hater crap. Dooley is the best thing that has happened to TN Vols in a long, long time. I wish everyone would think back to who got us in this mess of having no depth and talent. Wow, would anyone believe Phil got us in this mess. Yes, he most certainly is 90% to blame for the mess were in now and Kiffin is the other 10% reason were in this mess. I can't believe people are hating on Dooley. We finally got someone who cares about our program and trying to build a championship caliber team and you bums want to hate on him. Why don't all you haters go ask Phil why he didn't recruit the last three years he was the HC. Leave Dooley alone, he is the best thing that happened to the Vols and he will get this turned around quickly and put us back in the National spotlight. So in the meantime, why don't all you haters give Dooley a break.

What were you guys expecting this year, a national title? This is a young team that lost to three top 10 teams and you expected us to beat them? I'm as optimistic as the next person, but I'm realistic as well. We have a while before we can be contenders in the SEC again. Sorry if you thought we were going to play in the sugar bowl this year.

I want Dooley to succeed. Better said, I expect Dooley to succeed. That means setting the highest goals for the program and achieving them. That also means no more creative losing like the LSU debacle.

I am a die hard LSU fan (alumni) who lived in Knoxville for 4 years during the Peyton Manning/T. Martin era. My second favorite team is the Volunteers. I think that Dooley will do OK but it will take some time. He needs to get rid of all of the thugs on the team which he is trying to do. I do think it was in poor taste at the completion of the game when he threw the headphones down and did not shake Les Miles hand. He needs to set a better example for his players and the young fans by being a better sportsman.

please excuse us if we don't take sportsmanship advice from a fanbase that broke out bus windows and tried to tip them the last time we visited their town

and didn't your players throw their helmets before the game was over?
