Could someone please clue me in on why there is an inordinate amount of hate on Dooley on GVX compared to the other sites. Thanks, Go Vols

Most other sites would weed out obvious mouth breathing trolls. Gvx and knoxnews, in general, revel in the unhinged lunacy of the masses who feel qualified to judge based on their time riding the bench back in high school.

Because the hype from the trolls help sell subscriptions and newspapers because everyone knows those idiots at the paper would not report the truth if a gun was held to their head.

I know gvx gets linked alot on Mr sec, espn and other national sites.

I would say alot of it is opposing teams fans

This as well. By the way, I haven't trolled other sites (nb4 "you troll this one), but from what other posters have said, VN blows other team sites away.

Because GVX is a known breeding ground for ritards and trolls. There are numerous (countless, IMO) people who have had their accounts deleted because of something they said that was just going too far, only to make a new account and start it all over with a screen name eerily similar to their original one. Those people are there just to stir the pot, and the ones that aren't, bless them, are just too ignorant to realize it or just don't care.

Well, look at who writes most of the articles over there to begin with. I never check knox news sentinle for news anymore.

I guarantee you if GVX (and other similar sites) changed their comment structure so that it linked to a social networking site (like facebook), it would do a ton of good. I've seen several sites already do this and it has really toned down the rampant trollism and inflammatory, off-topic childish posting.

When you remove anonymity from the forums, it's amazing how the big talkers with small-man syndrome suddenly disappear. When you can trace somebody to a real name and a real face, the jacklegs aren't as quick to stir the pot or talk stupid smack just for the heck of it.

Edit: FYI - outkickthecoverage.com, the site run by mr. small-man syndrome himself, clay travis, actually uses the facebook comment format.

I said it on purpose like that because for some reason, I was thinking of Alan from the Hangover when he was talking about Rain Man being a "ritard". :) I know how to spell "retard." LOL And if I didn't, I'm sure SpecialEd would call me out on it.

My life has gotten so much better since I stopped reading their site and focused solely on VN.

The hatred towards DD is often in the comment section following a John Adams article. The class of people that would read that drivel tells you everything you need to know about the posters.

I want Mr SEC to start telling us John Adams wrote the story before I click the link. It would save me from hitting the back button right away.
