Dooley has lost this team...and I don't blame them.

Throw money at who?

Its easy to just say throw money at something. But do you want to give $5m to Mike Leach? Who deserves that type of money that has even a remote chance of coming to Tennessee?

I never mentioned Leach, I was just saying "IF" Hart gets rid of Dooley, they will have to SHELL OUT SOME DOUGH to somebody. Because it wont be a easy job, rebuilding TN.

Vandy looks better than Tn year 1 with Franklin than Tn does year 2 with dooley.Tn cant beat Vandy

I'm thinking that's the game that brings reality home to even the strongest CDD supporters (all except Ms. Dooley, anyways).

Vandy DOES look better than us...And not by a little bit...A lot...If some people can't see that then they have no clue about the game of football...Franklin has turned them around and made them competitive....They might beat Us and UF this year...It honestly would not surprise me

You retards would have a legit beef if Tyler Bray were healthy. As it is, I'm not buying it ... yet.

UF is not out of the range of possibilities. They're probably the favorite in our game.

I agree. They play with a level of passion and confidence that comes straight from the coach. They have half the talent of UT and I believe will give us all we can handle.

Dont care if anyone Bashes me. Im not bashing Dooley, just think that maybe hes in over his head alittle. With the lack of talent, injuries and taking over a MAJOR program, you need to be at least SOUND in aspects of the game. That way if you lose, you lost because the other team was just better. SC was not better tonight. We beat ourselves. And it seems we do that ALOT. False Starts, Penalties, Picks, mistackles, Mistake after Mistake, every game. And I know that the team is mostly Fresh and sophs, but damn at least get them prepared not to make mistake after mistake. WE LOOKED TERRIBLE. I will go out on a limb and say, if we dont fix the fundementaly SOUND, we may not win another game.

I will also say, that I was one of the main ones on here rooting for the guys. Especially Harry, but the Oline is not Improving. The entire Team is Suffering though.

I don't believe you are Chad Clifton.

I've taken the patience route as well...until tonight. Felt like Dooley hit the panic button early. Play calling and the illegal motions at home are not acceptable. This staff needs more attention to detail.

But I think it's a difference story if Bray and Hunter are still playing. We win some of these games. IMO anyway.

bingo we have a winner. I think everyone needs to look at the whole picture. We are the youngest team in the SEC with our starting QB and wide out out With them in chances are we win or make it closer

If Hart gets rid of Dooley, the next guy will have FAR MORE to work with than Dooley has had.

It is really sad that you guys fail to take into account the condition of the program and especially the roster when he started trying to rebuild.

I'm not saying he will succeed... just that it is completely unreasonable to expect great things right now considering where he had to start from.

Fulmer had let the program in every respect sink to the bottom 3rd of the SEC. Discipline was a joke. Recruiting had fallen off badly (witness the lack of Jr/Sr contribution to this team)... then Kiffin blows through town landing that wonderful 09 class... that produced no contributors.

Its the same crap every week. This coaching staff is pathetic.Elton John is a terrible play caller and Fooley is more concerned with his hair than he is with the teams preparation.UT football is a joke. Why would any recruit ever want to come here except for playing time on a pathetic team.I feel sorry for the current players having to endure such lousy coaching from this high school staff.I hope hart is making his list and checking it twice.

I will say this. To turn this around if Hart does get rid of Dooley at years end, UT will have to spend MONEY!! Just like Bama did with Saban. They will have to really throw some SERIOUS $$$$ out there. And not just in a HC, but an entire staff. May end up having one of the top paid FOOTBALL STAFFS in the NCAA. Because you all seen what happend towards the end of the game. Fans left. When fans dont come out to watch TN games, UT is loosing Money. Its plain and simple. Football drives the UNIVERSITY OF TENNESSEE. You start loosing money, and heads will roll. Its like the old saying
"Gotta spend money to make money".

I see no way Dooley would be gone this year. They have to stick with it another year. As furious as I am, I don't think we can afford a change yet. I just ask that he gets better and that his staff changes or improves. Truth be told, Idont think he is the best coach on his own staff. I think he has the pedigree and charisma that appealed to Hammy. Oh, and he said 'yes'

UT has played the #1,2,13 teams 3 weeks in a row with a young and depleted roster with a team expected to win 6-8 games this year. WTF do you mental midgets want other than what UT doesn't have at the moment.

All you children are in need of a time out. Or an ass whipping is what we got in the day. Nancie's like you today would sue your parents if that happened.

"Get behind Dooley or find another team to root for." The dumbest statement made by those who disagree with those who don't think Dooley is the right answer. Just because people don't think Dooley is the right coach for UT, they're suppose to abandon 50 years of loyalty?

Hardly the dumbest statement made. The reality of our situation is what it is. Since Dooley came on he has signed players that meet our needs, see the field, and are performing. Our problem is no upperclassmen who are productive in any significant fashion. Not very classy (or insightful) to call something dumb that is fact. You wanna root for the Vols? This is what we are right now. Don't like it? Can't get behind it? Then it's your right to find another team to root for. I'm not saying Dooley is gonna get the job done. Just saying it's too early to tell - and there are many signs he's bringing in players and building well for the future.

An analogy might be the Dallas Cowboys after Jimmie Johnson took over. They went 1-15 in 1989. But they were putting the pieces together (Aikman, Irvin, Harper, and Smith) for a 3 time Superbowl champ run. We'll see if Dooley can do the same.
