Dooley getting pissed in the game

Does anyone have video of it? Or did anyone read his lips? It was after a FG and Dooley was screaming at someone. Was it Lincoln for the low kick or the protection? Boy he was pissed! I liked it.

I saw him screaming at the end of 3rd down one time. He was screaming at the defense to get off the field because it was 4th down. Thats the only time I saw it on Espn3

He got after oku when he straddled that ball on one of the punts!

He's the head coach, if he's not pissed at some point in the game then he isn't doing his job.

I will say this. I met Dooley at a meet'n'greet with the studends in Thompson and he actually demonstrated his "coaching voice"

That guy can YELL and let me tell you he scared the pants off of everyone there when he did. I don't envy the players and I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of his shouts.

He was especially mad after this FG. I just remember thinking it was sort of a weak kick. Man he was hot. (no homo)

Oku made the dumbest play off the game when he straddled that punt. With all the talk of special teams this off season, I couldnt believe it. Thats coaching IMO.

Anything is better than clapping feverishly even when the team is self-destructing on the field (yet again) or the lame fist-pumping of a 35ish lying jacka$$ who shouldn't be coaching a H.S. team, much less an SEC program.

Sorry, just had to get those in. HA! As much as I love Coach Phil, it used to drive me crazy when he would clap on the sidelines as our teams consistently underperformed and self-destructed on the field on a regular basis. As for the Lane Kiffin fist-pumping after we scored, he just looked like a tool.

But seriously, I didn't see Dooley go off at all during the game, but I was partially distracted as I was also working the BBQ at the same time. From what I have heard, Coach Dooley isn't above getting in the faces of those players that aren't playing smart or who aren't putting in their best effort. Seems like a fired-up kind of coach. Let's see if he can get the guys ready for a real test this Saturday! I think the Vols are going to surprise everyone and play great.

It was because of the false start before we kicked it, remember we had to re-kick.

Heck, I was about to jump out of the stands and hit Oku up side the head for that boneheaded move. Am glad that CDD got onto him about that and am sure he'll be doing a bunch of it this season. But, the alternative is having a coach clap as every player gets off the field for 60 minutes...

LOL. I though I saw him yelling at one of the offensive linemen 70 or 71. I was thinking he was pissed about a couple plays before there was a blown block by the LT (Dallas Thomas)and Simms got blasted by UTMs DE as he was releasing the ball on a pass. If am not mistaken there was also a false start a play or two later. same player maybe? not sure

Shouldn't DD be more upset about the actual kick? That was a slider down and away that barely went in!

I thought so too but he gave daniel lincoln special teams player of the week...don't quiet understand that one...maybe a confidence booster??

he didn't miss any FG's. That should be a confidence booster. Dooley mentioned in the presser that hes gonna have to get his kicks higher. After last season that should have been obvious enough. I still want to see palardy kick some, did anyone see him in pre game?

id say there is going to be alot more pissed off shots this week than last. you cant ever get to pissed when you win 50-0

He was screaming at a lineman. Lincoln came by him and his screams continued to be directed at someone still on the field. Shortly after this, you see a big guy coming off the field and Dooley turns so that his screams continued at this person. I couldn't read his lips, but he was not happy.

Not if the penalty caused the bad kick.

Anyway, bad kicks, bad passes, dropped balls, ect. are part of the game. Will htese things furstrate a coach and eventually get a player benched, Yes. Penalties are due to a lack of discipline. Will this piss a coach off, yes. Frustrated and pissed off are two different things.
