I WAS a Dooley supporter but this loss is truly inexcusable. Better UK teams couldn't get it done against just as inferior TN teams ('05 and '08 for example). The '11 Wildcats are terrible.

Depth, youth, and injuries did not play a part in this. This loss falls squarely on the shoulders of the coaching staff for 1) failure to get them up for this game 2) failure to improve as the season has progressed.

It's 10 wins or bust next year.

Cannot lay this all on DD. Execution was missing today....players seemed out of sync. At a minimum, we should have gotten 3 when the drive got to the 8 yd line. The f'd up play was a result of a poor snap, followed closely by recognition of a poor snap.

I suppose you can say DD should not have gone to the wildcat...but I don't see why they could not run that play, seems reasonable.
