Jimmy Hyams just broke this story. He said that his sources have confirmed that UT expects TEN TIMES the amount of visitors as last year. That's over 1000 lineman visiting the hill! :):dance2:

Where did the other thread go about today's camp? Granted, the title was wrong about the 20 visitors...but there was discussion there. I would assume that the title would just be changed - surely the thread wasn't deleted. Was it merged/moved?

I missed the other thread, but based on this one, it sounds like the camp is a positive sign.

I hope we can convert on a lot the campers we want.

This is where coaches find good ball players that are not on the recruiting guru top 150 list. It's how you fill positions of need with good players that can develop into starters.

Of course not all of them want to be Vols, but to get them in the door to show them what we are about IS something to get excited about. There has been such little to see the bright side in lately that when you see this sort of thing you have to see the bright side in it. I mean it appears with numbers like that we are certainly getting into the minds of these young players. Go Big Orange!!!:pepper:

Except from you.

It's my opinion, but Dooley won't have to do much to improve on 7 - 6; although it might have to wait a year thanks to the state Kiffin left the program. If he hits that target this year, it will be a coaching job Hollywood will only hope to engineer one day.
