Just a week ago, we wrote about the distinguishing consistency of programs such as Alabama under Saban and Oregon under Chip Kelly. There is nothing cute about the way Saban and Kelly conduct business. Their sole obsession is creating a well-oiled machine that matches their vision of what a football team should be.

This is an article slamming LK, which is a good thing, but now what I want to point out. The refrences above to CK and NS really reminded me what CDD was lacking, Leadership. He doesnt have it, plain and simple. He's affable, intelligent, polished to a point, but he's no leader.

Also, I heard a rumor that Doug Marrone will be the HC on the Hill.

Sometimes I am so proud to have you as a Vol Fan. It warms my heart to see you complain, copy/paste, and spin everything. Thank You Rex for never changing from pure Awesomeness!!!

All true. Doug Marrone would be a major step up from Dooley but a major step down from the idea of Gruden.

Who the hell is Doug Marrone?

Doug Marrone was an up and coming assistant coach that spent one year as our o-line coach before leaving for a better job. Fulmer targeted him for the OC job after Cut left but that would have been a lateral or worse given he was the OC for New Orleans.

I think Derek Dooley is a hell of a leader and it should be quite obvious to any UT fan.

Dooley has led this team right off a cliff and is a huge fire ball rolling down the side of the mountain.

and what gives you the idea Dooley can't lead? Dooley's led UT to the bottom of the SEC, I'd say he can lead

What position do you play on the team Rex? I'm just wondering how you get your info for a statement like that.
