Dooley = Coach Burt Cotten from The Blind side

I was watching The Blind Side today and couldn't help but noticing how much Dooley and the High School coach in the movie are the same guy. Anyone ever noticed this.

I can't help but notice Derek Dooley= Derek freaking Dooley. He's not Saban, he's not Fulmer, he's not Kiffen, he's not some high school coach from a true story book/film, he's not even Vince Dooley. He's Derek Dooley. Good grief can we quit with the comparisons.

He reminds him of this actor, as in they look the same.

I watched the movie again just last week, and thought the same thing. I'm pretty sure to OP is not slamming Dooley, but if you watch, it's hard not to see Dooley in that actor. They look very similar, have similar mannerism, and at least in the movie, they have the same accent. Even my wife pointed it out how much that guy reminded her of Dooley.

Again, not an indictment of Dooley, just a simple observation.

the best part of that movie is when Fulmer comes to watch the practice to recruit Michael, and the Georgia recruiter says something "Phils here I might as well go home" and then he leaves. hahaha

Don't know Oher's mom, so idk if she accurately depicted the lady, but she was a HR in the film.
