Dooley Calls Out Oku

Good! His returns seem lazy! Somebody on the team must be a better returner. Rogers or hunter? GBO!!

Oku was timid on the kick returns. He usually accelerates into the wedge and makes his cuts with conviction. Not last Saturday. Good that DD makes them earn their roles every week.

We said the same thing at the game. He needs to steamroll one good time and find out it's not gonna kill him. Don't let up when you get the ball. It's your field at that point! Take it!

We need kick returners that are more explosive and evasive. I am not sure if we have any. Would like to see Hunter or Rogers get a chance, but normally you don't see guys that tall as returners.

About time we had some one in there not praising the guy when he is not playing to full potential. Oku is better than what he showed this weekend, and hopefully being called out will make him realize what he can do.

He called him out on his kickoff returns. He needs it to, we probably have the worst reutnr unit in the country. It's brutal.

Was Willie Gault the last good returner we have had? Not really serious, but it sure seems like it. I guess Mark Jones was pretty decent. Leonard Scott was such a huge disappointment, though.

Let's be honest here...Moore ain't much better. We just don't have a guy back there who will hit it and hit it hard. Nothing new...ain't had one for some time now.

I noticed on one of florida's returns there wedge or wall went to one side not the middle and they had good return off of it. I dont know why we always want to set up for a middle return. if you go to one side or the other normally the outside guys r smaller and you could take them out.

DEVRIN YOUNG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can I get an amen???

If he'll stick it up there and go....amen. We haven't had a return threat in forever. Can't remember anyone truly threatening since guys like Gault and Morgan.

I should mention in fairness to Dooley he made it clear he had already talked to Oku about it before he brought it up at the press conference. I know players hate it when the coach calls them out in public but not in private.

How about eric gordon? He was lobbying for the punt return job earlier. Not sure how fast he is, but I bet he would hit it hard. We need someone who will make a quick decision and accelerate.

just glad we haven't heard "well were gonna have to look at the film and see what went wrong" DD tells it how it is after the game then comes back and tells how bad the film looked

It's not like they exactly have any blocking or running lanes. It's hard to shake 4 guys that seem to be untouched.

I have to say after listening to Dooley in that press conference i really like what he had to say. The man makes sense and actually talks about the problems instead of talking around them.
