Dooley Called in for 6pm meeting tonight?

So you're doing what you have to in order to appear to be driving legal. I guess some states are different but usually a tag is good for 12 months & a drivers license is good for a few years. If I get pulled over & my license address doesn't match my vehicle registration that could be a fine because its illegal. I'm sure Kiffin was a dual resident but he was a low character guy & never "gave his all for Tennessee".

Yup, I would have paid had I been pulled over. I worked from home for the first 17 months that I was out here. I bought Cali tags two days after I was hired for a job that required a commute. I ain't that dumb.

They'll still get me on the drivers license thing if I get pulled over, which I try pretty hard not to do, for many reasons, because other than a certain impatience with legal paperwork, I'm a pretty boringly legal kind of gal.

The DL is only one point. There is an entire body of evidence if you want to go back through the chain of events.

No, I do realize that, and I never believed for a minute that he planned to stay here, I don't care what he named his kid. I just don't think that failing to change his tags was the dead giveaway, as opposed to overwhelming evidence to the contrary.

There was plenty of other evidence (much more persuasive), as you point out. :)

Because once you become a resident of another state you have x amount of days to change your tag & license. At best you can wait until they expire but it's not exactly legal. In the case of your friends I assume they are dual residents of 2 states.

My dad went 2 yrs in Kentucky with his FL plates after we moved. Did exactly what he's saying; mailed a check and they mailed him a new sticker not difficult.

26 pages so far...impressive OP...pretty sure its not even on the same topic anymore, but nice job

No sir ree called the meeting to inform dools that we will win this week, hands down. Alabama is untested, they haven't played anyone. Forget about uf, uga, and msu. This time is for real..

i'll have what he's having!

Dooley was called in to see if he'd need a handicap parking sticker for the rest of the season.

at the meeting, to smooth things over, Derek brought pizza, beer and cookies--after a few drinks, everyone forget what the meeting was about, and they later went out for more drinks at a local club---derek ended up with a $500,000 raise somehow.

If Dave Hart fires CDD mid-season, like Hamilton fired Fulmer, Hart needs to be fired. The team is already down after a couple of tough losses, but to fire their coach in mid-season would be the final straw for many of them. Also, consider what this would do for our recruiting season. And remember, I was against Hamilton's hiring of CDD in the first place due to his lack of experience... just like I was against his hiring of Liar Kiffin due to what had been said of Kiffin by Al "Nutcase" Davis.

There's a difference between firing someone mid-season and actively (though not publicly) searching for a replacement mid-season. I strongly suspect the latter is what will occur.

Dave Hart is a guy who knows what he wants. At the point DD is fired, the replacement will already be a done deal.

I agree but I have been texted by 3 people about this, 1 works in the ticket office. I can't see anything happening until after S Carolina game but I'm just telling you that my phone is blowing up!

Meeting Transcript:

Hart: "The fans are restless, Saban is coming to town. UT is improving. If you beat my old boss and university (and I am still loyal to them), you'll be fired by the me -- if Bama beats you, you'll be fired by the fans. Welcome to a no-win situation. Have a nice week".

Dooley: "Gee, Thanks for the vote of confidence"

/sarcasm.

Not buying it. Dude is getting his chance against Bama. A win like that secures your job.

I think a win vs USCe or Bama saves him assuming he finishes 8-4. A win vs Bama probably saves him at 7-5. To that extent, I don't think MSU was really that important to Dooley's future.

If I were Hart and UT is 3-5 after the next 2 games, an interim finishes the season and I name the replacement in time to create a staff and shore up the recruiting class. I doubt that happens but IMO should.

How is Dooley going to be dominant? He's a TE/WR coach. He can't legitimately call plays on either side of the ball, and can't earn respect from his own players.

Lets be realistic here

The truth. The bigger truth is the assistants supposedly working "for" him, know "more" than he does about coaching. So, they go their own way, right or wrong.

In reality, with our defensive issues. We wont beat Bama. In addition, South Carolina is not slouch either. The deck is stacked against Dooley...IMO
