I find this interesting just to see how his approval rating has changed over the past few months.

I understand that with this poll there could be a lot of answers, but I want this to be simple.

Yes, we have had these threads before, but I find it interesting to see the change.

It is going to take more than couple good hires before Dooley is out of the dog house. Most Vol fans forgive, however we hardly ever forget.

I think our opinion of Dooley will change for the better with a year of having a healthy GOOD QB. If we beat who we are supposed to beat and defeat a rival or two plenty of people will be drinking the doolaid

It is a loaded poll question anyways. He doesn't need to be fired "right now" because that would spell disaster for the recruiting class and the prospects of coaching replacements. We need to wait until the correct time to get rid of him so we can have a good, systematic coaching search and not a last second bargain bin hire, which is what any HC search right now would turn up.

The bottom line for me is that in the beginning I said I would give him three full years. I will hold to my word. At the end of next year I will either be able to say I told you so or I'll be on the Fire Dooley bandwagon.

Exactly. Everyone believes he is coaching on borrowed time. We just have to grin and bear it for another 9 months or so.

Dooley's entering his 3rd season as head coach. I say that if the team hasn't made any kind of progress from the 1st year, he should be let go. In this case, improvement isn't going to mean 6-6, it means 7-9 wins.

I think that's a reasonable enough idea.

I know that some don't like dooley and they are people that like him.I like him and really hope he does well.I am behind him and this team 100 percent.i could never pull against the VOLS .Iam a fan and always will be, in hard times and the good.
If you are a vol fan you know what Wes Brown said his last year.He gave all he had for this team and i think we should do the same.if you don't like dooley ,atleast get behind the players.they put it all out there on Saturday and they deserve your support.
negative or positive we are all vol fans.[except the ones that hope we never win another game].agree that some of us disagree about certain things.
this may have already been said before.I just thought i would give it a try.GO VOLS in 2012.
