Dooley and UT have a big day -- Scout

Dooley did a great job filling what we needed for this team with what from what we hope will be high character guys and its great to see him and our staff get some positive feedback about what they accomplished.

I also think it looks great on his part to have no decommitments or switches on signing day, really shows to me that staff won these kids over. Regardless of the coaching change or not we had over ten decommits last year, many of whom committed to Kiffin then retracted their commitment from him.

I found myself reading the first paragraph real fast, not sure why :whistling:

Thats what stood out for me. Not one recruit who committed to us got away. That speaks CHARACTER. I trust Dooley. And I trust this class no matter how many stars each guy has against him.
Just for everyone who thought we might loose a coach or two(including me), We have everyone. THE FUTURE INDEED LOOKS BRIGHT.

I'm ecstatic! We addressed a lot of needs. Another DT would have been icing on the cake; however, Dooley and his staff have proven that they definitely can recruit. GBO!

I thought it was a great NSD for the Vols. We all would've loved to have another DT and I'm still pissed about losing Dawson. But all in all, needs were filled. Also, another thing from the article that I noticed was how Scott Kennedy misspelled "Kiffin". I love it.

What 4 star recruit from TN did we not sign? The article says we "built a proverbial fence around the state of Tennessee signing three of the four 4-Star rated prospects". Who is the one of four that we didn't get?

Dooley played the expections game well. A just below parr recruiting performance made him look like a "winner." To DD: The best PR is getting the best players and winning championships with them.

Whats par?

We are in the big east, the eastern division of the SEC is as big as it gets... that is, except for the western division of late.
