Dooley and staff are outworking the rest of the SEC

Offers mean nothing. Commits mean nothing. Who signs that dotted line the first Wednesday of February 2013 means everything. That's when you know how hard they worked.

:eek:lol:This is a joke right. Going down rivals and scout list and sending every player on them is not outworking. 1/3 of these offers will never be committable.

Amazing how predictable things are. Pretty hard to have any kind of conversation or discussion about anything when you already know what responses will be.

Were we talking about raises or street names? CarterVol, you get sidetracked easily and the rest of the post makes no sense.

The thread sucks. It means nothing to offer 500 kids this early. It only means they're doing what they should be doing with the biggest recruiting budget of all. This is nothing to pat Dooley on the back for. Win a game against someone worth a damn then sing his praises.

Well you have to take into consideration that we have a whole lot of new coaches on staff, and a bunch of them may have different oppinions considering this is their first year together. Maybe they are trying to reach out to all the kids that fit all of the coaches' desired abilities. I mean just a shot in the dark, but the RC just left and we have a bunch of new mindsets. This could all be a side effect of that. IMO.

Kind of a short-sighted point of view, don't you think? The work that the staff is putting in IS directly related to who signs that dotted line in Feb. Do you think recruits are going to sign without being recruited, evaluated, offered and a relationship being built?

Well said. No matter who signs where, it doesn't take away the effort the coaches put forth.

How about the effort Hoke and his staff at Michigan are putting forward... their commitment list is crazy!

dooley may very well be outworking everyone, but this isn't proof of that

in addition, i think heavy hitters across the country show as much concern about dooley and tennessee being after a recruit as addicts do about law enforcement trying to eliminate drug traffic

That's true. But none of it matters unless the staff can develop them into SEC caliber players. Then they need to win with them.

If Dooley is right and you get one out of every four guys you go after, this is going to be one massive class. He'll have to be pretty creative with the gray shirts.
