Dooley and Muschamp

It worked for ButtFace Kiffin.

'worked' is a loaded term. You can get a good job going straight from coordinator at a major college to HC at a major college, but I wonder how well prepared those guys are. CDD made a comment once that he knows he's better prepared for the job at UT having had the job at La. Tech.

CLK seems like a good coach but sometimes it looks like he spent his entire life preparing to be a head coach without actually preparing to be a head coach. He overlooks some of the little things such as his awkwardness with the media (take a presentation skills class for goodness sake) and controlling the messaging with the media. I wonder if he had been HC at a small school first if he would have learned to pay attention to some of the small things.

Dooley is the one that found Muschamp and Smart at Valdosta St. and recommended them to Saban.

Understand where you are getting that but Will started as a GA at Auburn in 1995. Bill Oliver got him his job at LSU. Dooley had alot to do with it but in the end it was Oliver. In 2002-2003, Kirby was at FSU as a GA. He worked under Saban at LSU in 2004 then went back to UGA in 2005, then to Miami in 2006.

No hate, just saying DD is not really the one that found them.
