1) Tim Banks will not stay a Vol. He simply can't after this season. If you take out 1st round pick Will Levis (LOL), SEC QBs are averaging 385 passing yards and 4 TDs against us.
Sunshiners, and NegaVols...there is no reason to argue over Banks. He can't be defended anymore...(pun intended).
Being coached not to look for the football isn't a talent problem. Playing 12 yards off a WR that isn't a deep threat is not a talent problem. Constantly taking bad pursuit angles isn't a talent problem.

2) Heupel's offense works. Even with Hooker playing through an injury, this thing still works.

3) We didn't deserve a great season. Didn't deserve the playoffs. Its obvious this was one of those bad weekends for everyone but .....OSU, MICH, TCU , even UGA all did what they had to do anyway. Tennessee's defense simply stopped pretending that they could be anything more than they are. This is absolutely the worst defeat in program history, but we still have the right guy in Heupel.

4) Burrell, Tank, and any other SR on DEFENSE that have a covid year for 2023, need to move on. (Take Hadden with you).
We need the new blood of from 2023 HS and a new Defensive staff.

Don’t shoot the messenger, but he’ll get another year or two to get some of his own talent on the field.

You have to fire his butt after this game. No excuses for this. Time to let Heupel pick his own Deffensive Coordinator.

Hey scout, do most db coaches now
Coach anyone to find the ball in the air? Or is current coaching to play the eyes and hands?

They're coached to run even and then read the eyes.
If you read the eyes you can still adjust to their change of direction or play the ball.

This is the worst coached secondary I have ever seen.
Average talent with bad coaching will give you 400 yards and 4 Tds average....AVERAGE per game.

It's my wish to see him let go, so that those guys don't get ruined by his methods.

They certainly don’t teach the proper way to tackle at UT by putting the shoulder on the ball carriers hips and wrapping his legs up.

But you play the hands. That’s how Kirby and saban teach it. Mod-mirror and play the hands and eyes. That’s why their dbs don’t have many ints. The whole find the ball narrative is tired.

Then Heuple ain’t the man and he needs to go to. You HAVE to play a little defense to be good enough to compete for championships. And that should be our goal.

We’ll stated… I will only be concerned if after this season Heupel refuses to make changes on the defensive side. But I think he’s a winner and knows talent is not the only problem on the defensive side.

Back 7 is awful bad. Blame it on whoever. Its been real bad for 2 years now. I saw bad technique tonight along with lack of talent.. There is a reason Martinez is a secondary vagabond, been passed around more times than a Hooker on Craigslist..

Couldn't you wait a couple days to post this. It was bad enough last night. Thanks for the info. Hate to hear it

Not to change the subject, but, did y’all see that the Fighting Kiffins had over 700 yards offense and still lost to Arky? Crazy. For JH and Lane, they both gonna learn, especially in the SEC, it’s great to put up monster offensive numbers, but you still have to have a better than average defense to win consistently.

We all know the transitive property does not work in sports, but as fans are quite confident it does when things are going well.

got a reminder last night.
