1st - You always want to be negative. Black cloud behind every silver lining member of the miserable minority.
2nd - This is year one of this completely new offensive and defensive scheme for this staff with a VERY depleted roster and we are well beyond reasonable expectations.
3rd - I have seen several responses to your statement of there are none so I won't point them out.
4th - Your last line is just to easy. No comment.

Need to be able to give QB a little more time against elite pass rushes. You watch the conference games where Vols offense really made hay and HH had time to let things develop downfield before he committed. Bama and UGA took that away. Obviously, we need better blocking to stop that. We need better hands on WR without losing speed and separation. We can’t have a drop off in QB play if HH goes pro. And we need upgrades and depth all over the defense. Not impossible but it’s a heavy lift.

Great comeback, Tennessee was the best offense Georgia has played this year and your falling all over them Bama will be able to replicate what we did and score. Georgia was lucky Hooker had a bad game our it could have been alot closer.

I would not blame it on Hooker. Every quarterback georgia has faced this year has had ”a bad game”.

I guess that's where it comes into our personal opinions about what we are seeing. I believe Heupel is a coach who can turn the tables on UF and especially if they choose to hang on to Mullen. He's a very good gameday coach and developer of teams/players. He is a very good leader which as often as not has been the difference in UT winning or losing to UF.

A loss is a loss and the decisions made led to the loss to UF. However it could have been different had Hooker performed better in August camp. UT with Hooker playing as good as he has over the last several games could have been 3-0 and hitting on all cylinders going into the UF game. At worst it would have been much more competitive. But things are seldom perfect from the start. The better measure of a coach is how well he recognizes and corrects mistakes. I think this staff has done that pretty well so far.

Can someone explain to me how having a high-powered offense that can score lots of points is a Problem? I thought the object was to out-score your opponent. I can not believe some of us are complaining about score points after going all those years and only scoring 10 points in a game. Back then many were saying the game has changed and you have to score at least 30 to have a chance to win. Now some of you want to go back to that? I don't. It is exciting watching the Vols and I have not been able to say that in a LOOOOONG time. Go VOLS!!!

I like the play calls. We just need to control the clock longer.

LOL, that's not what you said.....You said that ga couldn't score on bama.....that vs this is totally the opposite. No one is saying that bama won't score....put the shine down...

the teams that ga has played this season have a better win/loss record than all of the other SEC teams, including bama. who has bama played again?

Agree. Bennett fits the mold right now. Game manager. Just like all those other championship bammer teams. Kirby came up fully under Saban...he's trying to build his own bama in athens.

We don't have to have the best defense in the SEC. It'd be great if we weren't LAST in 3rd down defense - like Garner said, make plays on 3rd down and you won't be out there on the field 85-95 plays a game. With a full roster and better players, we'll get a D that complements our dynamic offense.

K so build up your D fense to stop people on 3rd and 4th down. Then go score when we get the ball. The scoring thing is important too. Georgia and Bama are not beating teams 14-9.

Agree. I think it will continue to be a mistake. Even Saban moved on from that model. When UGA faces more equally talented teams like Bama, style of play is going to hurt them.

You can't be as bad as UT has been at it and win championships. But teams that play like you seem to be suggesting... are getting buried by teams that score lots of points and can get off the field at a reasonable rate on 3rd and 4th down.

Disagree. The D needs to get off the field quicker. UT's D isn't getting worn out because the O scores too fast. They're getting worn out because they've been awful on 3rd and 4th down. That has nothing to do with the O.

I'm not down on any of UT's guys. UT has 2nd tier talent overall. You see that often in reaction time once a QB breaks the pocket. Christian Charles IMO is the type of athlete at S that helps change that. I appreciate what Bailey has done at LB and maybe he can improve with the off-season but he is late too often and misses tackles. IMHO, everything we've seen go wrong on D can be corrected with development and new talent.

It would have also helped if UT had a healthy RB.
