Today’s game like A&M was over 2 1/2 hours. Totally unwatchable. Basketball will soon be 3 1/2 hours like football at the rate we are going

He’s unreadable. Do is USAToday
Read Rucker today---great article
Got to stop reviewing every play--basketball too many close calls, let them be. Worked forever. Football more suitable but getting to be more and more

If you didnt read it how do you it's not an original take?
Fair point. I meant needing to shorten the last few minutes isn’t an original take. Maybe he has a novel way of doing that, but I doubt it, and won’t be finding out anyhow

Part of it is to protect players from flagrant fouls, but too many of them this season weren't even close to questionable.

Are you talking about Schiano Dan? That guy doesn't deserve clicks from anyone. He's not a journalist or a man.

All those intentional fouls late in the game by the team that is behind drives me crazy.
The rules should be changed that if the team that is leading in the last 2 minutes of
the game gets fouled, they get 2 free throws AND they get to inbound the ball at mid-court.
That would stop those endless fouls that makes a mockery of the game.

I guess you don't recall the Memphis vs Kansas NCAA championship game in which Kansas came back from a 9 point deficit with under 2 minutes to play to tie and go into overtime and eventually win by doing exactly that.
