I saw that video. He got his butt whooped and deserved it more than likely. But it was 2 on 1.
Bradley Turner, of 3432 Institute Road, is charged with discharging a weapon into occupied property, two counts of assault by pointing a gun, assault and battery, going armed to the terror of the public and injury to personal property. He received a $37,500 bond.
Christy Marie Turner, also of Institute Road, was charged with two counts of assault by pointing a gun. She received a $1,000 bond. No other information was immediately available
Investigators said the video clip is only a small part of the incident and does not show the shots fired at the truck following the initial confrontation.
Yeah apparently he came back later and shot out the trucks windows.
Deputies in Carteret County say he punched a man in the face for allegedly cutting him off while driving. The victim, 20-year-old William Berry, and his friend, 21-year-old Nathan Brotzman, were seen on cell phone video fighting back.
Deputies say after Berry and Brotzman beat Turner to the ground, Turner then pulled a gun on them and shot Berry's truck and Berry's neighbor's house, all in the presence of Turner's toddler, sitting in the car.
In court, the judge decided Turner is not allowed to have any contact with the victims, their families, or any prosecuting witnesses. He is also not allowed to bring any firearms outside of his house.
Turner's lawyer, Roger Crowe, painted a different picture.
"We're dealing with a man who's a father and a husband and a hard-working man, and he was just completely terrified," said Crow.
You know what's more scary? Someone following you to your home to confront you and punching you in the face. Then when you defend yourself, they pull out a gun and fire off rounds. Now that's f'n scary!
True cinematographer ftw!
Apart from everything else wrong that went on in this video, this is exactly why if you know or think someone is following you don't EVER drive to your house.
I hate people who fight 2 on 1 but I also hate people who instigate fights and sucker punch. Dude punched the kid with no warning while he's sitting in a vehicle. They looked like a couple of teenagers while he was a grown man. Seems like that guy has a lot of issues to not only walk up and punch someone but then fire a weapon while they were already leaving. I'm okay with the passenger jumping in because the guy appeared to start it and he punched someone who was seated. The passenger was just being a good friend by jumping in and you don't know how far the guy was going to take it. What if the guy ripped the kid out of the car and stomped on his head? I don't know... lol. I have no problem with the 2 on 1 because they were defending themselves and didn't take it too far. It's not like they maliciously beat the guy down. They just prevented him from being a threat and walked away.
On the other hand, looking at those kids... wouldn't surprise me if they were driving recklessly while endangering the lives others. A lot of kids are morons and think cars are toys. He did call them punks so maybe they were. Or could just be a hick with an anger problem that was portrayed in the video. I've seen my share of both.
And the pants... wtf lol

Those that believe in fair fights are FOOLS.
Good call. It sounds like the guy followed them some distance so clearly he was pissssed.
I'm not trash and don't go around getting into fights so I guess that's why morally I'm opposed to unfair fights if you're going to do it. Then again, people who go around starting fights are generally trash and you shouldn't expect them to fight fairly. Point is, that person sitting there probably didn't expect to get punched. To him there was no fight at that moment, just some angry hick that probably beats his wife looking for a fight.
But I disagree there aren't fair fights. UFC?I love fighting as a sport or when people are willing participants. That's probably where I get my attitude about fights being fair. People who go around starting fights and f'ing with random people deserve a beat down. That guy got what he asked for. He not only got his butt whooped but he's looking at jail time and at the very least hefty fights. You have to be a fool to think it was worth all of that to get in one punch because someone cut you off. There are a lot of crappy drivers and everyone came out of it unharmed in this instance. He brought a lot more on himself over something that you should just write off as a bad day. Could be a bad 4 years if that's what he ends up gettings.
Probably the truth is all involved aren't the best people, but really I think this guy got what he deserved. You got cut off in traffic....so following them for miles and walking up and punching the driver is the answer? He's lucky he didn't get beaten worse.
Then goes the pansy route by trying to act like a bad man with his gun....handed to him by his wife. I don't mind using a gun for defense but he immediately became the aggressor. And how does he know if someone in the car has a gun...when he starts walking towards them pointing the gun at the car, he could have been shot.
The "kids" are probably jackasses, but he's the biggest moron of them all.
