He never said 7-10 days. He said the month of December was a critical month like he would like to make the hire in the month of December and since this is the second day of December I would think he is still well within his timeline. This is exactly what happens. People just make stuff up just because they want something with in that time. You must have been thinking of Mike Hamilton. He is the one that said he have somebody hired in a week. That got us that piece of crap Dooley. You may want to let Hart do his job I think he can handle it.

One of the UA sites(BOL) is reporting Smart is interviewing for the AU job. Doubt he really would take it and doubt he is a top choice for AU, but who knows.

I have a cousin within the Alabama Ath department who says Kirby Smart is getting the Tennessee job. He is right most of the time. Says deal is very close to getting done. Just passing on what he told me. No link but he was pretty sure.

Funny another guy just posted his friend at Church said Fisher is hired. Is Smart going to be DC?

I do not want Smart either. I think Smart will play out a lot like Muschamp and be a good coach with a mean Defense, but no way do I think he is ready to do that now. He is not even close to being worth the risk. Needs to go prove himself away from Saban first.
