Don't sell tickets to Bama fans

can we just have the 'new seats' what were added over the off season?

Tennessee increased its listing of capacity by 2,444 over last season without adding any seats. UT spokesman Bud Ford said the school is now listing "stadium capacity" rather than "seating capacity," and said the change had nothing to do with staying ahead of Alabama's increased capacity

I am assuming that the new method of counting stadium capacity included all seats in the stadium like toilets and concession stand workers.

oh... and LSU bleaux... i cant believe that miles can be so !&$#ing lucky...

I went over to e-bay and noticed a great increase in Tn- bama tickets for sale. Sell your tickets to Vol fans and avoid the quick buck. Alabama gets 10,000 tickets per mutual agreement between athletic departments. Every other ticket is a VOL fan selling out. Keep it ORANGE.

If someone so wanted, is there somewhere in the athletic dept where you can put your tickets up for sale and be distributed to UT fans. I doubt there is, but there should be.

If I can't go to the game, a UT fan offers $100 and an Alabama fan offers $300, I'm not taking a $200 loss. (Just speaking hypothetically; I'm going to the game.)

y'all sure have been awfully demanding this season. I've seen at least two or three threads each week demanding Vol fans to:

stand up a cheer.
sit down and shut up.
dont sell tickets to (fill in the blank)
dont leave early.
if they suck, we should all leave early.
dont sing the "Wooooo"
"Woooo" your freakin butt off!
dont give back a football if its thrown at you.
be nice to old folks.
dont bring your infant child.
wear Orange!!!!
wear white!!!!
dont wear black!!! its not our color....

ect....

Its damn tough to get y'all satisfied.

Your typical cfb message board addict is fvking retarded.

So if a UT fan can make a big profit on his tickets, he shouldn't sell to anybody wearing crimson? Ridiculous!

My question is if you're a UT fan, why would you be trying to make a big profit, instead of going to the game? I guess I'm just to HUGE of a fan to get this rationale. If you cant make the game, that's understandable, but by all means, sell the tix to a VOL fan if you can. It's a free country and you can do what you want, but I totally agree with the poster of this thread....GO VOLS

I learned two years ago from the Bama game that UT has a pitiful fan base... That being said... I would sell my tickets too for the right price. As such, I guess we deserve each other.

so what you're saying is...don't sell to bama fans...what if no one from tennessee is buying - do we eat the tickets, lose money? - DUMB POST OF THE YEAR AWARD!

It's not about being demanding. It's just that we have some real crappy fans. It's even tough to call some fans when you have to beg people to stand up, cheer, wear orange, sing rocky top, or call other Vol Fans "ya'll."

my dad has had tennessee season tickets since 1965 same seats . i'm as orange as they come ! my best friend from work is from lower alabama and a huge tide fan . This years game will be our 5th tn. bama game in a row two in tuscalossa and this year will be our third in knoxville . he was diagnosed with brain cancer six weeks ago and is three weeks into his treatment .Not only did i get him a ticket like i do when the game is in knoxville as he does for me when in tuscaloosa. I will do what ever i can to make this game as fun for him as possible ! We all love college football or we would'nt be on this site . there are things in life that dwarf college football !! hope everyone has a good time at the game GO VOLS !

I don't think it will be as bad as it was in '08. That year I think most fans stayed home and didn't care who they sold their tickets too because they wanted to send a message that they had had enough of CPF. In fact I think many purposely sold them to bama fans. It will be different this year.
