Don't Be "That" Fan Base

I've been a big supporter of CJH and definitely appreciate where he has brought us thus far. I do however think it's time to not live off that trip back to respectability and push forward toward being an elite program again.

CJH has the offensive mind and background to get us where we need to go on that side of the ball. It's time for him to do what all successful coaches (and leaders) have to do and admit that someone he brought in isn't living up to expectations. It's time for him to cut ties with Tim Banks and find someone who can bring our defense to an elite level. At the same time, we need someone to balance out CJH's laid back and encouraging demeanor by crawling in somebody's helmet when they screw up or aren't giving the effort we need. We don't have anyone on staff that's doing that currently.

100% in support of CJH. Now it's time for him to step up and continue to develop as a game manager and CEO of this team. Being the guy in charge means hurting some feelings and doing things that are uncomfortable sometimes. He hasn't done that yet and that's the only thing that concerns me.

Points per play is a better measure of how well offense is performing since it takes pace out of the equation.

We are just outside the Top 10 nationally in this metric (#12). Second in the SEC behind Vandy and just ahead of A&M...
