Done defending T.O.

Do I even need to point out how ridiculous these statements are? The Niners went 7-9 in TOs last season with them. The Eagles made the NFC Championship prior to having TO and, a year later, won the NFC Championship without TO.
TO only played one year in San Francisco? That's interesting. For that matter they would hold a giant civic celebration if the Niners could play 7-9 ball now. What did the Eagles do without TO last year? How did that compare to the previous year? I'll guess that Eagle fans were much happier with the '04 season than they were last year.

1. What great things has T.O. done?
2. What makes T.O. 'three times the player' that Steve Smith is?

Wow dude.

T.O. is one of only 6 WRs to have 100 TD receptions. I'm an Eagles fan, so my disdain for TO runs deep. However, he's one of the best WRs of all time.

Steve Smith?! Are you serious? He's had one good season. TO's had at least 6 times that.

Not having TO last year wouldn't have mattered if McNabb doesn't get injured.
Wasn't a Dallas team that, by the way, missed the playoffs, kicking Eagle a$$ in Philly when McNabb got hurt? That team was dead in the water.

In fact they were not. The Eagles were winning that game and the INT that McNabb threw on the play where he suffered his season-ending injury resulted in the game-winning TD for the Cowboys after trailing the entire game with TO doing sit-ups in his driveway.

You may be thinking about the earlier game in Dallas that the Cowboys won 33-10.

He is an incredible physical specimen, and if he put his ego aside and placed the goal of the team above his own selfish goals then he would be the best WR, maybe the best football player, of all time. He would most likely have plenty of rings to go with that title. However, he doesn't. He gets his catches and his TDs and in the process he tears down any sense of unity among his teams, ultimately ending in playoff demise. Great players put up the stats while working towards championships. TO works towards individual records.
