Donations for Family of Fallen VOL

All,

First, thank you again from the bottom of our hearts.

We have received word through the grapevine that the Tennessee Players, or at least some of them, are planning something for remembering Isaac at the game today. We do not know what, if anything, they are planning to do.

Does anyone have any information they could share about this?

I was not planning on watching the game today, but would either order it or find it at a local restaurant if someone knows where it will be on.

Thank you again.

Buddy Lee

Did the players do anything to honor him? If so what was it?

Too bad could not get people to donate at game outside of gates pre game.

Just think. $1.00 per person.

On a side note, hope to start working next week. I plan on donating then. Proud of all of the Vol fans on here and elsewhere. Breaks my heart about what happened to this young man but you people who not only have donated, but prayed, makes me love this fanbase that much more.

Makes me very thankful for the health and well being of my 18, 20, and 21 yr old who were at the game with me. I hugged them all 3 and told them i loved them. They were in shock that could happen so fast to someone their age. Life is so fragile and we all take alot of it for granted. It can be gone in a second. So if you have kids or loved ones dont put things off. We are not promised tommorow.Do things with them and hugem and tell them you love them.

I've always said if I'm going to go, I want to go in the middle of a touchdown celebration, but dear God, not like this. Just awful. I can't even imagine the pain they must be going through.

I think a love offering of sorts from VolNation would be appropriate. I have set up a secure PayPal donation account. The donation link is below and I will post pictures of the account balance daily. We'll receive donations for 30 days and then give the entire amount to his family. FREAK, can you sticky this?

Come on, Vol Fans, even it's a buck, it'll help this family. Feel free to link the donation to your Facebook page, etc.....

I donated $5.00. Life goes beyond football, and I am praying for the friends and family of this SEC fan. God Bless.

I'm so proud of all the Vols on this site!

Just donated again.

I was just thinking the same thing. I donated a week ago but I get paid again this Friday. What better way to celebrate this weekend's festivities than to donate to a cause such as this.

Fantastic....even inspiring the OP to do the same. Thanks VolNation.

He wasn't drunk bro

This was a tragedy for sure.

But maybe we should donate to an alcohol awareness program - I'm being serious here. Too many teens and yong folks getting drunk and destroying their lives. Not sure how giving money to the family solves anything.

Do we know they even NEED money?

Sad.

Just a thought here...

Is there a way we could get this info and the link on Gameday somehow?

They'd probably say no because they wouldn't want to start something but we'll never know if we don't look for a way to at least try and ask them.

If they did agree to do it then it could be HUGE and would also show what type of fan family we really have at Tennessee.

VFL...GBO!!!

Hey guys, there is a candlelight vigil for Isaac tonight in circle park at 8 o'clock. FYI. GO VOLS!

Just donated again!

We are over $5000.00. We're going to make one final push to the fans next week before closing it out at the end of the month.

Alright VolNation, we have less than one week left to donate to Isaac Grubb's memorial fund. Please help me spread the word, as we make one last push for donations.

Freak, is there anyway to draw attention to this thread for last push before October 1st?
