Joy Grubb's Father, Neil, passed away this morning.
In the span of four days she has lost a son and her Father.
Joy was able to see Neil and tell him about Isaac before he passed.
Joy's Mother told me tonight that Isaac had stopped by the UT Hospital to see Neil 3 times last week, and the last time when he left Isaac said "see you after the ballgame".
I absolutely got chills when she told me this...
God has a plan.
Sincerely,
Buddy Lee

In my humble opinion, the money being raised isn't the point and neither is the circumstances behind the accident. This is a kind gesture from an extended family of VOLS. Deeds of love and kindness are all equal to the great commandments. It is also a way for those of us who want to help but do not know how. It is part of the healing process for all of us.
Speaking from personal experience a mother and father never intend or ever dream of burying their son. It does something good for the soul to see such an outpouring of love from strangers.
It has never been touted before, but because VOL fans are orange blood brothers through and through is the reason why I believe the University of Tennessee has the best 12th man in the country.
Anyone who has ever gone to a college football game, anywhere, in support of any team, would surely view this young man as a kindred spirit. Donation sent. Our rivalries are petty under such circumstances.

Come one, Vol Fans, even it's a buck, it'll help this family. Feel free to link the donation to your Facebook page, etc.....
I just donated - and put a little extra in for those who can't - this is still an active post and a worthy cause. Keep it going. Maybe You too can put a little extra in for those who can't. Tragic Story - tears in my eyes right now. My prayers to the family. John 14:1-3 ....Go Vols ! ....... Wish that I was on ole Rocky Top, down in the Tennessee Hills ..... John 14:1-3
