It's really crazy GP. If his episode Sunday, had been on a weekday, I would have put him down. He has bounced back again. Though still not doing great, he is alert, eating, wanting to walk, etc. I didn't think it was possible Sunday. He was a vegetable.

I'm glad you waited. I had a feeling he would get better, or at least I hoped he would. I'm the type of person who would wait until my dog had zero chance of making it before putting her down. But if he is coming around then it must not have been too bad. I'm happy for you. I know it's hard watching a pet or anyone you love suffer. It sounds like he's trying to get better.

We have a Jack Russell Terrier who is ten years old. He has this brown spot on his head and now it is turning gray. He's a lot grumpier than he used to be. Sometimes I think he forgets people. Other times he is sweet and shy. Dogs are very special and very mysterious creatures.

mysterious indeed. My middle son came home last night with some type of metal on a chain he got at school and it sent my other lab into a teeth chattering, slobbering frenzie, but her tail was wagging like something out of a cartoon. She kept trying to rub her gums on it and it made her act like a crackhead.

That's funny. Oakley (Jack Russell) sleeps on a Hello Kitty blanket. He somehow manages to get himself wrapped up in it and then when he wakes up he's walking around with it draped like a cape. They are adorable even without trying and escpecially when they act like jackasses.

I see I'm not the only one attached to their dog. I feel like beating her sometimes but don't know what I'll do when she's gone. She's about 13 right now.

Adopted a 1yr old yorkie mix yesterday from Petsmart. He looks like a yorkie but has a long tail. Laid back dude. Sleeps mostly....my kind of dog. Named him Rocky (top). Post pics when I can.

Not so great. It's been rainy and lazy too. Hoping the sun comes out and monday is better. Seems like Sundays are bad for him. I swear he is human at times.

Vet said I would be crazy two years ago to attempt surgery on a dog of her age. Fawking pissed off and got her inside petting her awaiting Monday. She loves playing fetch and was a frisbee dog in her youth. Brought this up the other day and didn't knock on wood. She is struggling to walk but this dog doesn't wimper or sigh and is fully alert except for her hearing. Cancelled a beach vacation to figure this out. Sh!t sucks.:cray:

Had to put her down yesterday. It killed me inside seeing her suffer but around thursday took a turn for the worse. Couldn't stand, walk, or control her bowels. Hardest thing I have ever done but after hearing several Vets opinions. Set up all friday night and yesterday being with her she was suffering.
RIP Rocket girl.
Loved-Hiking, Fetching anything(frisbee,stick, leaf, remote control she would throw them at my feet.)Loved the snow,cold weather, and her own master.
Hated-Summer time(hot), Fourth of July, and thunderstorms. plus other female dogs. Queen B!tch.
5/12/12 RIP girl. :cray: Lived a great life and will be missed by her family and friends.
