Does this mean TEE?

What in the hell is that supposed to mean? Please define "soft fan" for us and how, on earth, would you know whether it bothered Jalen or not?

Soft emotionally, nothing better to do than be a surrogate indignant over nothing.

First of all, has Tee ever been positively identified as the voice on video?

Even if he was, if Martin thought Hurd was soft & terrible, that's an opinion, off-hand sarcasm, or whatever. If Hurd doesn't give two cents, fans with nothing better to do should follow the example.

Martin got it done and delivered 1st National in 1/2 century, whereas Manning didn't. If he's the best guy available at the price UT is willing to pay, only our worst fans would say no.

I know that all will be forgiven if he comes here. The fans that hate him now will love him and forget they ever talked bad about his. They would say how great of a VFL he is and how good of a coach ect, ect, ect.. I think it would be great to have him on the staff. It's always good to have a vol from the "Glory Days" around. That being said I know Butch is trying to move forward and do things his way, so having Tee around may be detrimental to that cause. The risk is worth the reward I believe.

Sounds like your opinion....

If Manning never came to Tennessee it's highly unlikely that the NC would have happened. Many on the 1998 roster came to TN to play on Peyton's team.

I keep hearing that Toya's career is about to explode, but there's nothing really I can find about her career taking back off, other than her desire to sing again.

Tee has to do what's best for his career both financially and professionally. It's laughable that so many want to assume Tee shunned Tennessee, and I do believe that Toya legitimately wanted to be in LA when she had already talked about getting back into music, but it's been 4 years and she's gone nowhere.

Maybe it is time for Tee to move on from USC, and maybe wherever he moves on from isn't Tennessee. He needs somewhere he can grow and even perhaps fail so that he can learn. If he fails at Tennessee, his legacy is ruined. Of course, far too many want to destroy Tee's legacy here just because he took a better coaching opportunity that also made his wife happy. It's just ridiculous.

Oh, so now you're close, personal friends with Jalen Hurd? YOU, all-knowing one, kindly follow your own advice.

Has anyone heard him mention it? (crickets). Do anyone know Tee Martin is the voice on the audio? (chirp...)

Lot of people invested in the meme without much to go on except a need to find someone who 'hates' (translated as anything but overt homerism) TN so they can wail and gnash.

My guess is family stuff caused the decision or maybe he doesn't care for Helton. Tee is likely getting interest from other schools with the coaching carousel going at warp speed right now. But i doubt he ever comes to Tennessee.

Tee is probably a decently warm commodity. With a bunch of HC and coordinator positions opening up, his name is undoubtedly getting tossed around.

I feel if Tee does return, it will not be long term. At this point in his or any ex player turned coach, the alma mater is another stopping point on the career ladder.

I don't know Tee personally anymore than 99.9% of the folks on here. He seems to be a good recruiter and coach. From my memories of how he was treated shortly after graduation, I think he was treated badly (nothing ever came of the claims). Would be nice to have him on staff.
My only issue with having past players on staff is if they end up being "let go". Would you want to have to fire Peyton?
