Does Malik Brown have better upside than

Brown packed on 30 lbs to go with his 6-3 frame (6-3 250). He had 46 tackles, 14 TFL, and 17 sacks. Bellamy (6-5 240) his senior season had 30 tackles with only 2 sacks. Both played against a high level of competition ... time will tell.

It depends on his skills on the field. You can be the perfect size for the position, but it depends who's football IQ is more advanced.

If both kids were sitting there and we could take our pick, I would take Bellamy. I think he has more upside if he can focus on football and not run into issues in college. With where we are in recruiting, take both.

I realize Bellamy is supposed to be very athletic, but he is very lean. Wouldn't make an immediate impact, imo. Brown, to me, plays with more of an edge than Bellamy. I think both could contribute down the road. Hope we get both.
