Lol.

He is the Putin of UT.

They literally ran a promo on the big screen at the game telling all us peons how great he is and how thankful we should be to have him.

Oh yeah! Fans that wanted to win are the problem.

It's a b.s.statement. Fulmer's final contract gave him an auto extension/raise if he won 8 games. The problem was he won 5 games, not 9, and was hopelessly behind Urban Meyer, Mark Richt, Saban, Miles, Spurrier and Tuberville during his final seasons.

How many more sec championships let alone national championships do you think Tennessee will win in your life? Who gave you the ones you witnessed?
So let’s get this straight. You loved the championships and all the things that came with the 90’s but can’t see that fulmer slid way down hill in the 2000’s. I’m just holding the man to his own standard.

Johnny built that program, not Fulmer.

Out side of Lovie, what other top coach came thru Fulmer from day one?

Excuse me...

Johnny built Fulmer's program. Fulmer broke it. and could not rebuild it.
I’ll give you the first couple of years but this statement is generally false. The program started declining 05/06 after the administration started stressing CPF recruit more players of “character” after many off the field incidents. CPF followed orders then took the fall.
Bottom line is Johnny couldn’t beat Bama and Phil could. And I love Johnny and am thankful for what he did to build the program but this is truth.

I think Fulmer has a better chance to survive if he cuts bait quickly...

Some people here would make love to Fulmer's jockstrap. He deserved to be fired when he was the coach. Yet, people act like he's our one and only savior. Never understood it. There's no changing their mind though.

Even in disappointment I realize a bad season is gonna happen on occasion. Maybe this will be our “Saban losing to UL Monroe”.

Stupid post. Fulmer didnt bring us here. We have been on this path since Mike Hamilton and Fulmer had little options and time once he took over. Fulmer has shown a commitment to the program and has shown to make the right decision in the other atheletic programs.

Many thought Pruitt was a decent hire considering the fiasco of a coaching search. Many even said he will leave us to go to Alabama when Saban retires.

Yes, Fulmer survives because this was the best hire he could have made given the circumstances.
We could have had Leach.
