Fulmer has confirmed that fumble was on Foster. As for being passionate, that is fine. Just don't get 15 yard penalties for it. He got one last year at Kentucky in overtime that we were able to survive. Florida this year, and I believe he has gotten another.
you see hot-headed and I see passionate. I didn't like the 15yds but thought it was a proper reaction at the time. And are you also blaming him for the fumble at the goalline vs AU?
Joey is right! That is the great thing about records. You earn them. People don't vote on the number of yards you accumulate during your tenure. So yes, if he breaks the record he deserves it.
In order to break the rushing record at UT, you need to avg 770 yards per season over a 4 year career. Hardly mind boggling numbers.
Foster's fumbles will be remembered much longer than averaging 770 yards each season.

I can't believe the hate spewed at this guy. He earned the yards so he'll earn the record..
What are you talking about. How can you possibly defend him at this point.
He will break the record, good for him, congrats he was the big fish in a small pond.
The majority of fans arent pleased with him and no one with an inkling of football knowledge will ever mention him as one of the best.
I wasnt pleased with Riggs but looking back i regard him as a better back than foster.
I can defend him because he has been a good back, he's stayed loyal to his team and he's going to be the all time leading rusher for the Vols (that small pond).
I don't need to trash a guy like that. Trash him all you like if it makes you feel better.
