They keep showing the stupid Fulmer resume object over and over and over. Why don't they throw in some statistics that are relevant? Just goes to show you that statistics can be used to justify just about anything.

Whether they won't us to lose or not is up in the air.I think what we are seeing is that when a man runs a clean program for so many years and does it with class while being so successful as a whole, folks tend to feel sorry for you and take your side and defend you. Folks around the country, outside of Bama, respect Fulmer and admire him for his accomplishments over the years. It's really hard to not like Fulmer and I think that we are seeing that in the media and coaching Fraternity. As a true Vol fan, it's easy to put our feelings aside for the coach and look to get the very best leader for our team to protect the program and its future. I like Fulmer as a person, I just am able to listen to reason, unlike Mike Hamilton, and see that Fulmer's days have passed him by and it's time for some new blood. I still haven't figured out how any Vol fan could be wanting Fulmer to get another shot at turning this thing around.

No, they're just presiding over the wake.

Fair enough. I just hate when I see useless and irrelevant statistics/facts on national TV. I just picture the legions of mindless people formulating opinions solely on what they see on TV. Of course at this point I don't think even ESPN could influence enough fans to want to keep Fulmer around.

Not another dumbass thread about ESPN, CBS, etc wanting us to lose.

Give me a break.

Dude it's not serious. Maybe I should've worded the title different but it's really more about why they would choose to show the same 3 statistics over and over and over and over again...completely irrelevant information if you ask me. I don't believe ESPN is trying to screw us...

don't sweat it. there are so many members on this board now, that each thread has at least one person attacking somebody.

That is completely true. I just don't want to get lumped into that category. While I don't believe the company as a whole is out to get us, I do believe there are some homers on the sports stations that like to throw a TN jab at us every now and again. I just wish these channels had more balls and were willing to throw some relevant information that might be controversial out there from time to time.

You sound like you have given up. It can be deflating but if you keep hitting them with wisdom, facts and logic eventually they will mature.

This ESPN/CBS conspiracy crap is so old. We suck, it ain't the fault of the media. We suck. Pure and simple, unadulterated, the big orange this year sucks.

It would help to read a thread before posting first...i think it was made pretty clear no one was saying that smart one.
