I can't help but wonder if ESPN is talking about us so much, because of the package they signed with the SEC.. I wonder if they are hyping everything up to draw attention to us so everyone will watch our games in the fall... Same deal with Florida..The more interest they can drum equals more ratings.. Everyone and thier brother will watch the UT vs UF game for sure to see what happens.. Don't get me wrong I don't think they (espn) want to roll in the sheets with us, but it is really starting to become almost over ther top.. You also kinda have to figure that there isn't anything else going on with SEC football right now, so they are taking everyone chance they get to talk about it.. I wonder if ESPN and Kiff are just using each other for publicity???

Kiffin sells, right now before the first snap that is a good thing. Let us all hope this infatuation continues for years to come.

They are under pressure to talk about re SEC even in the off season. The hype is to build up viewership, so creating and blowing up story lines are great for future business. Lane makes a compelling character which will be grey for us, especially if we win. He is the wunderkind with a big mouth who in the offseason is delivering on his promises and at the same time stirring up the pot. Mullen is taking the same page from Kiffins book, but know one cares. Imitation is the best the sincerest form of flattery. And you know what they say about no publicity...

they hate us, everyone knows that, but who cares they have the money, Kiffin is the hot topic right now, I am surprised they dont have a live 24 hr feed to kiffin's desk, his house, the practice facility and a tap on his phone.

talk is cheap what happens on the field is what will matter in the end and Monte will take care of that. Im not expecting a beatdown but Florida had better be ready for this defense

I thought leading into the program with the second story being the firing/resignation of Mark Smith was stretching it somewhat. I can't recall ever learning of a S&C coach being let go by a program being reported on ESPN. Someone help me out and let me know if they have before.

Its business. Period. If I was ESPN, I would hype the hell out of this game, they have the rights to SEC football this year.

Its smart Business.
