Currie isn't getting fired anyways. Atleast he will be getting someone better that Butch Jones and Greg Schiano. If Bahama John pulls this off it takes a lot of steam off of him.

Doesn't matter. Because of his buyout, he's not going anywhere unless a blatant for-cause issue arises that Davenport and Haslam can't cover.

Hard to see a new chancellor chasing her first hire this quick. Especially one she went out on a limb to hire.

This is a trick poll question. DOES he keep his job? Yes. SHOULD he keep his job? No.

Well given the fact that his buyout is $100k per month, through 2022. I say he’s probably staying.

Honestly, I didn't believe this and then I went back and read it. That's absurd.

It's $900K / yr to keep him around and it's $1.2M / yr to fire him.

WHAT? How the hell does he have a contract where he earns more from getting fired?

That’s how UT likes to draw things up. Really keeps em guessing.

No. Seriously what is so special about mike Leach

Maybe the fact he is 9-3 at Washington State and was one game away from being in PAC 12 Championship game and also the fact he took a absolute garbage program in Washington state to new levels after taking a Texas tech school that was even worse to a 11-2 season

The fact that he considered Schiano and Doeren are enough to fire him. His mishandling of everything to make UT a national joke only adds fuel to the fire
