No. If he hires Doeren, then I won't spend another dime on anything related to UT. I will watch on tv and hope they win, but I fully expect the program to stay at the bottom of the SEC for a long time if he makes that move. I know some folks liked calling Dave Hart "Bama Dave"...but now it truly feels like our AD is an enemy agent doing all he can to torpedo the program. Jimmy Haslem should also be detached from the program.

This is what the Trump presidency feels like to progressives in this country. It seems like EVERY single cabinet pick, judicial pick, etc. Trump makes is actually the very worst person he could possibly choose for each particular job.

It's maddening to watch our football program -- and America -- being dismantled by people who clearly don't know what they're doing.

Not to get too far into the political rabit hole but I don't think we've had a competent president since Regan. I mean they've all let North Korea more or less go un-checked

I just think he should focus on the guys that are actually interested in the job. From what I have seen Tee Martin, Lane Kiffin, and Les Miles are all interested. Why are we avoiding these candidates? To me all three are good options. I'm not going to bash Currie, b/c I believe he is wanting a safe hire, but there are a lot of unknowns with all the candidates at this point. I certainly don't think they should chant that mess at the basketball games.

Some people may support him but they can't really speak out because of the backlash for doing so.

I wonÂ’t watch a game til Currie is out. What a disgrace. No way in hell this guy gets my support.

Lane is a dick. He's ridiculing Tennessee over the coaching search and has publicly declared that he's not interested in the job.

Les Miles is a retread. He'd draw huge salary, disappoint everyone, maybe put the program under sanctions, and suck a monster payout when he must be jettisoned. Only a fool hires Les Miles.

At this juncture, UT should give Tee Martin whatever he wants to take the job. To hell with the racists, the boosters, PM, or whoever has squelched making him an offer to this point. Bring home Tee. Give him the reigns. Hire whoever he wants to hire. Let him run the program however he wants. If he succeeds, UT is set for ~2 decades. If he fails, well, the AD is out on his ass anyway...

I don't disagree with that, but political comparisons on both sides really have no place on the football forum. I would prefer that the disgusting topic of politics stay isolated to that hell hole known as the political forum.

I agree with you Tin Man, Tee is the one we should offer. I do however think Les still has something left in the tank.
