Does CLK have his eye on current Vol?

Who timed him in the 40? I assume they made that time up

The S&C coach for the BB vols was the one who timed him. He was on the Sports Animal this past week and was talking about him. The first time he clocked him he ran a 4.31 the 2nd time he ran was a 4.27 in the 40. He said Chavis saw him working out and stopped in his tracks and asked who that kid was.

I am seriously throwing it out there Beecher, no way this guy would go to DE if he tried out in the spring it would be as a receiver more then likely.

You misunderstood me,

I meant if he was serious about doing it.
Sorry, I needed to clarify that.

Wow thats crazy. Get him out there then. Did they say if he was really interested in trying out?

Have not heard but I do know the guy likes soccer and has only been playing BB since he turned 15. I say let Kiffin pursue it and lets see if he can catch.

The skills part of playing WR would be the question I guess. Sounds like he is a great athlete for his size.

Thats why I said earlier if he could not catch, line him up at CB. With his speed and 40 inch vertical what WR is going to out run or out jump him? No more mismatches with the Julio Jones type WR

U think the technical part of the skill positions would be too much of a hurdle?

That is why I said DE, If he moved up to 240 he could play a rush end on 3rd down. Simple go get the QB.

I don't know, just a thought.

Negadu could be an NFL player with the right coaching. I agree with that. I doubt Pearl is going to just "release" him to go play football any time soon.

He can play both sports if he choses to then decide where his best shot of a future in sports lie.

Me and some friends were having a discussion about this during the basketball game warm-ups. He is freaking jacked, and is quick as lightening. He would be perfect at wide receiver or possibly tight end- he has the height, quickness and vertical leap. Apparently he can dunk jumping off one leg (without a running start).

Put him in pads, CLK!!!

If you look into this guy and his past in Nigeria it does not take long to see this guy is tough. He does not eat American food because he feels it has to many chemicals in it. His favorite food is Rabbit, c'mon CLK get this guy a steady supply of Rabbit and invite him to try outs.

Oh My God, why are you ruining that Markers Mark. The only things that go with Makers should be Ice or Water, then never use both of them at the same time.

Jack Black period. Why do ya wanna drink some inbred KY liquor?

If CLK is looking for size and speed he may not need to look any further then current Vol Forward Emmanuel Negedu. The Nigerian phenom stands 6'6" run a 4.3 40 and is the strongest player in the weight room for the BB Vols. Negedu grew up playing soccer so he has the footwork to play receiver, the unknown is can he catch and would he try out for the team. One thing is for sure is size and speed would be a difficult matchup for any defense.

Thoughts anyone?

I assume you mean Black Label "Jack Daniels" which was originally aged to 7 years old. Now it is just called "Old No.7". I remember when Frank Bobo was in charge of distillation down there in Lynchburg.

Here's looking at you!
