Does Cam Cameron get a call?

he is a pretty good QB coach ; did good job at Indiana ; had good O at San Diego admit not much last year but maybe in over his head. Could be one of those guys not made to be head man

Yeah, that's why they had much better seasons when Nick was there. Strange how they were a pretty middle of the road AFC team with Nick and immediately after he leaves they tie the record for worst season in NFL history.

To say he did a good job at Indiana is to admit you have no idea what you are talking about.

Saban was not well-liked in South Florida by Dolphins fans even before he decided to leave (and lie about it) because he was doing a bad job. From a 9-win season to a 6-win season is not evidence that he was doing well--instead it's the reason Phins fans wanted to see him leave. They expected things to get worse this year as they did. The way he left gave them no time to replace him adequately. Cameron was not ready for an NFL HC job, but what choice do you have when you've been loyal to your HC while he was all the while planning to backstab the administration.

Saban was a terrible NFL coach. Plain and simple.

in his last two years at Indiana they were ranked 13 and 19 in offense I'm just saying he is a good offensive coach and has years of coaching qbs

I'd say he's the best coach they've had in their last three. Saban inherited a team that Wannstedt built to have a good defense full of older players that were starting to slip. The offense was designed to ride on the coattails of Ricky Williams. However, there was no Ricky Williams.

I don't know how many games the Dolphins would have won this year with Saban at the helm. I'd bet my life savings it would be more than one.

That's not saying much.
Let's wait and compare him to the next one where there's some chance they'll get a real coach this time. But that program has been run totally into the dirt with those three guys. It was way too far gone to blame Cam Cameron for this year's season. Cam may turn out to be a bad HC, but his time with the Phins was a real set up for failure. He didn't have a chance. It will take a few years if they get the most talented HC available, IMO.

Not really. How many wins did the Saints have in 2005 before their playoff run in 2006?

One thing's for sure. He wouldn't have lost to ULM.

Why not expect the same in 05 from Saban if that's your expectation then?

Also, I don't think the Saints program was nearly as down as the Phins. Saban's wasted time and energy with the whole QB thing left a whole lot of other issues neglected. I'll give Saban credit for knowing it was time to go and that he wasn't capable of turning it around.
