Does anyone understand the holdup on stimulus?

Race horse protections, people with AIDS in other countries to buy cars, money to Sudan, ....
6000 pages. That's insane.

Since no one else will read the garbage you link (including you), I'll post the relevant snippet from the Brookings Institute article.

While some TCJA supporters observe that nominal revenues were higher in fiscal year 2018 (which began Oct. 1, 2017) than in FY2017, that comparison does not address the question of the TCJAโ€™s effects.

The most appropriate test of the revenue impact of the TCJA is to compare actual revenues in FY2018 with predicted revenues in FY2018 assuming Congress had not passed the legislation.
(Bold by me)

Summary: Revenues were higher but not as high as projections.

Philosophically, the proper question is (or should be), is the only goal for tax code manipulation to raise as much revenue as possible?
Despite what you want to believe, trickle-down economics typically don't work. A better approach would be a "trickle-up economy" that provides tax cuts to the lower and middle classes.

Yep and mostly bulls**t. Well itโ€™s all bs but if itโ€™s truly to help American people $600 is a a slap in the face compared to all the other crap they piled on. At least we have a hand in choosing the Dalai Lama now.

Why would anyone sign this?

Because they think the majority of us are as dumb as they are and we wonโ€™t care as long as they throw us a bone.
$600 ain't much of a bone.

We know the answer, more free stuff. You lazy democrats love free stuff. Free food, free housing, free healthcare, free college
More "blah, blah, blah...commie this, socialist that" bs.

Exactly what are you going to do once the cult leader is gone and you don't have any more propaganda to spew?? Who will do your thinking for you then?? Eric? Don Jr.??

Please point out any part of my post which articulated my belief or beliefs. And since you're going to do that (because posting accurately is important to you), please also note where I mentioned trickle up economics; or any economic theory.
If you are unable to find either in my post, may I tactfully recommend you return to your depth. Swim with the forum's teenage girls discussing the drama of someone's skin color, or age, or who they are, or have, slept with.

If you are big enough to admit an error on your part and desire earnest conversation with some bad puns mixed in, I am your huckleberry.

Good grief. You writing legal briefs nowadays?? Get over yourself.

The question was asked whether the tax cut paid for itself and you replied with some bs trying to move the goalposts.
