Does anyone think Hart is cleaning house?

Its pretty obvious that every staff hire since Hart has been on board has been an upgrade. Thats impressive and hints at Hart's ability to cooperate with Dooley and give him the best possibilities to succeed. It all started with Graham.

I know he came home and all of that, but that hire suprised me.... Love having him, but he never did cross my mind until he was hired for some reason... Could not have asked for it to have worked our bettter...:loco:

Hadn't thought of it that way but it is a possibilty that Hart wants to upgrade the whole staff minus Dooley. More clueless head coaches worse than Dooley have had success with a good staff and talent level around them, ask Lou Holtz.

Not a chance what you are saying is true.

It looks to me like Hart is running the show. I am pretty sure he was at Bama while LT was there the last time. Perhaps he is the guy who decided that LT needed to go, and therefore did not offer a long term contract.

I think there were some cancers in the locker room and they weren't all wearing pads. I think Dooley and Hart are trying to put together a staff that will be unified in their efforts to win.
I do believe this has happen in a respect full way . They chose not to tell people they fired them. And I think Dooley is bringing in people he thinks will help him get the job done.

I don't think Hart picks Dooley's staff. I think the coaches left on their own and we will see if we have upgraded with the product on the field. I like who we brought in and am excited to see improvement.

Ten win season and an end to most of the fan base division? LOL

I have no idea what that sets up. It seems to indicate that Hart thinks DD is the guy who needs to stay.

Agreed. The previous coaches had impressive backgrounds at each of their respective positions. Assuming that just because UT hired staff replacements with a more "southern" heritage doesn't automatically mean it's an upgrade with the entire staff.

None of us will know for sure until at least a few weeks into the season seeing how this staff performs.

When I interview some one for a position, I make sure they knew what I expected of them. I ask, can you do the job. No matter how much I like them, if they didn't do what was expected, I fired them, Thats how I protected my job. Maybe Hart and Dooley are doing the same thing. I don't care if they hire Popeye if he wins.

Ignore it if you want, but it has been said by one of this sites most trusted insiders.

the same ones saying RS was going to be announced?

and thats on the O side of the ball, not the side that has been bleeding coaches all over the table.

the D was the part that everyone was bragging on as most improved,,28th in the nation.

No, the same one that said all along that Shannon was never directly contacted by dooley, and that contact with him only went as far as back channels because he wanted too much.

As far as the D "bleeding" coaches it is not really surprising. It is very common that when a team loses a defensive coordinator that he has an assistant that goes with him. Everybody knows that, which is why there were so many threads started on here during our defensive coordinator search talking about Barros and Brooks coming. We always knew that we were going to lose both of them eventually seeing as it was always known that they wanted to go out west. Is Hart cleaning house? No, but this was not unexpected.

Also, just a side note on the defense, yes it was much improved but you and I both know while it may be the 28th best defense statistically anybody that claims it we actually had the 28th best defense is full of sh1t.
