after the game I had to hustle back and bartend at Ivy's until 3 in the morning. If you were at that game you couldnt have been more wet if you had jumped in a pool.

Not since I've been here it hasn't. It still has newspaper clippings from the 80's up so I don't think it ever did

Burned in the mid-90's (I think that's right). Look at some of the pictures closely and you can tell they've been in a fire.

what about Vic & Bill's aka Sick & Ills? The best was a Rooster from Rocky Top Market at 3:30am.

Mmmmm, I would really like a Reuben right now from there.
...what about buying a six pack from the cooler, ordering up a hoagie on dark rye, and having gastronmical ecstacy. Why is knoxville almost the only place to offer THAT form of hoagie(wich is head and shoulders above ALL others). We still stop at Nixons on K pike on the way to games, but the spots to get the steamed delight seem to be disappearing.

Don't forget all the cool posters.

The thing I remember about Horace was reading in SI that during the SC game in 93, Tanneyhill said to him after a play "Horace I want you to come get me". The next play he sacked him. He called it "the most satisfying sack of my career".
