Ill go ahead and give my opinion. we get a bowl game this year and win. Ut has a better then average season next year. we get close to being pretty good in 04. 05 we kick butt. DD is still the head coach and the negas come on board!!!

meaning years D has been here

are you a complete dumba@@?? he ALREADY has a job and wouldnt even THINK of touching UT with a 10 ft pole...i see him at Ohio State for a few more years before he hangs it up for good..unless he pulls a health stunt like the last 2 yrs he was at florida retiring only to come back the next season and then retire again...what a douche he was to Florida...

Nope.. This is a public forum. We share ideas, we share opinions, etc. but facts. Naaaa. Not till Hart is behind the podium with cameras rolling.

Folks don't really come to forums for facts anyway.

Forums are just another form of social media...at least fan forums are.

The Knoxville News Sentinel had a big write up yesterday on the buyouts of the coaching staff with a big Pic of DD on the upper right corner of the front page. I highly doubt the paper would run an article such as that without this rumor having some legs to it.

Once upon a time, I saw a 3 legged chicken at the carnival.. I remember feeling a little sorry for the chicken and asked the guy running the attraction "Hey buddy, how does your chicken go to the bathroom with that leg stuck up his a$$." The guy very politely showed me his middle finger and asked me if I would like him to take the leg and uhhhh show me how.. I said no, thanked the man with a single finger salute of my own and left..

After much thought I came to the conclusion that even though one of the legs was fake, one could argue the chicken still had 3 legs...

The moral of the story is that there is no moral to the story and Gruden will be our next coach.....





The chicken told me so....

Facts are hell no one knows except the boosters and Hart, I really hope he comes but I honestly doubt he will. We will see though.

FYI any one watching thursday night football, references were just made to Butch Davis seeking a HC position. No mention of whether it be a college or pro position. Just mention it so yall can put him in the looking for something catagory

is speculation at this point. You have to decide fo yourself if you trust the people posting with "inside sources". For that matter the same holds true with the media talking heads. Truth is nothing is official until it is announced.

To all that say the Gruden rumor is BS, why hasn't Gruden or Hart come forward to deny it? Please don't insult anyones intelligence by repeating what the media is saying, this rumor has made national headlines and if it did not have any validity to it, it would have been squashed by now.

Not exactly. Gruden has a job doing color on MNF. And he is getting paid, from what I hear, more money to do that one night a week rather than working 6 to seven days a week coaching, recruiting, and making all the personal appearances Tennessee's head coach is expected to do in order to "create excitement" for the program. (A Lane Kiffin complaint about the job. As much as I despise him, he was right about that one IMO.)

Now, it may be possible that his ex-cheerleader wife might pull for him to take the job, but I see the likelihood of Gruden considering the job at about 5%. For me, that is pretty squashed. I'll stay tuned, and if you are right, serve me up some crow.

Where is the rumor circulating? All I hear or see other than on here, is how silly it is. The Negavols appear to have bitten HL&S. But that appears to be it. Time will tell.
