i mean there are a LOT of people talking about this. Clay Travis, Chris Low, former players, etc...

I mean, they say where theres smoke theres fire.... i know it seemed impossible, but there has to be at least talks. and nobody has come out saying these are false. thats what makes me believe. its been a month and nobody in the know is gonna say its not true? seems fishy

This has been going on for three or four weeks now. In that time don't you think if there was any credibility to all the fire, buy out, Gruden coming someone would have found some legitemacy to something and really it's been going on since the florida game. No I think emotion has taken over VN and wishful thinking on both sides of the isle have been placed in print.

not to be that guy, but you never have facts under these circumstances.

you don't get facts until stuff actually happens. the closest you get to "facts" is having the rumor come from a sports writer or a radio host, and that is not a fact either.....that's just rumor from a more respected source.

so, if you are looking for "facts" and links to facts regarding a possible coaching termination and replacement, you are never going to find it.

i'd trust wise 'ol vol more than any other poster with regard to forcasting the future. that guy is right about everything

Come on gator, even the presidents own cabinet leaks whats going on. If there was any real truth to any of the rumors it would have come out in a believable way.

i can't speak for tennessee's athletic department, but i will tell you i trust florida's athletic department to keep its mouth shut far more than the u.s. government.....regardless of administration

Simmer down. All this gruden talk is just foolish. Just a bunch of kids wishing so hard that they piss themselves over silly rumors. Some fools posted a letter that said absolutely nothing about gruden - but they inferred that it might have a reference to gruden,,,if you wished hard enough. And as the rumor mill goes, it grows. It's to the point now that radioheads are talking about it. With absolutely no base. No fact. Nothing.
Here's the deal - Coach Dooley took over an absolute inferno of a **** program. He has done everything he has set out to do - except win. He has restored integrity within our football program - no more ThugU. He has stabilized our coaching situation, demanded more of the athletes in the classroom, started the VFL program, stabilized and improved recruiting. And now, after 2 1/2 seasons, he is being called every name in the book, fans demand he be fired. Et ****ing cetera. These classless so called fans do everything they can to destroy what Coach Dooley is trying to fix.

Good post, even if you do want DD gone why speak ill of a man who has brought back integrity to UT. No more rumors, just facts!!!

I started this thread to find out if there was anyone out there who could give any validity to any of the "rumors" out there about DD leaving, grtting fired, gruden new head Hc, buyout on the way... So far ....nothing... Nothing...all the crap being posted is nothing but pure emotionialsm!!!!

Nope. Nothing. Wishful thinking, compounded by fellow fans anxiously comparing thoughts/ wishes/ dreams, over and over, until after enough have been posted, they seem to generate some sort of substance, as if there's something really there.

Understandable, but it gets old.

I figure we'll find out when we find out. I seriously doubt that anything this important and $$$ will be first revealed on a forum.
