Does anybody think we'll see Matt Simms tonight?

We will.. in last minutes of fourth quarter after we have 42-10 lead...gotta give your backup some practice..may be we can have him throw some deep balls..

I'd say odds of seeing Nance would almost be higher. Worley is going to have to implode or become disabled for Simms to come back in.

If Dooley thinks Nance is a better option than Simms, I think he would've played him prior to burning Worley's redshirt.

They are playing Worley because they believe he is the best option to get 6 wins which they BADLY want for bowl practice.. they didn't feel simms or nance could do that

I think CDD and the gang have always thought Worley was 3rd string and we were going to play him if Simms couldn't produce. I've said it before and I'll say it again: I don't think we would be seeing Worley if Simms could've (a) completed some 3rd downs (at least better than last yr. which he couldn't!) or (b) at least be good enough for 1-2 TDs run or pass (the offense has enough talent to do at least that!). It kind of sucks that Matt couldn't produce bc he says a lot of good things about UT and you want to see him do well. But since he couldn't do those 2 things we have to burn a RS. Oh well...

I honestly think we could see Nance if something happens. I think Dooley has tried to give Simms the benefit of the doubt and hope that he got better since losing his job to Bray. We all saw the same things from last year when he came in this year though. He is the worst thing Ole Lane ever gave us.

Surely we'll be able to see him. I would think he would be on the sideline with the rest of the team

I can't believe Simms isn't starting! He makes our running game so much better. Who cares if he takes a sack on a roll-out pass near the sideline? This guy can check into a run play like nobody's business! :p

If Worley can throw the ball better than a blind midget with no hands, than we will only see Simms on the sideline.

LWS- In the event that USC wins handily, do you leave Worley in for the experience or rep Simms in the event of reopening competition?

Hopefully it doesn't come to this but what do you think?

My wife (hot imo) said she thought Simms should practice being the holder on field goals if he wants to see the field again.

Nice on scoring points with your wife. If he was holding.g he would probably try to audible out of it and go with the naked bootleg option.
