I was just thinking, some schools have "new" QBs, transfers, etc... Some are doing alright and some not.
But my point is, regardless what happened in the past, Dobbs was most likely going to play this season anyways.
I feel like nothing has improved since he's been on campus. That's not a knock on Dobbs, but rather on the coaching staff.
If you don't have confidence in your QB throwing a pass, then recruit over him and start a passing QB. They've had 3 seasons to do that.

Holy s$)t! Butch made two stupid calls in the Florida game and you idiots have been posting this BS for a solid week. Give it a freaking rest.

Butch sucks and every other coach, pee wee included, would have called a better game.

Who cares what progress they have made? Who cares that the Vols were in the position to win the OK and FL games when at the beginning of the year they were automatic write offs?

Get a freaking box of tampons and STOP posting the flow of garbage coming out of your mouths.

The past is the past. We have Arkansas tomorrow. Grow up and support your team or go to Walmart and pick up a freaking Alabama shirt.

Tell that to the national media as well. Apparently all those talking heads think Butch is the worst coach in America. Lol. There have been a lot more than 2 bad decisions.

A whole lot of em do. When al golden made questionable decisions, there was an article that said he channelled his inner Butch jones. Just saying...

Ok a bit of an exaggeration here... I don't believe that the national media (ok a few articles, etc) think he is the worst coach in America. Everyone is still emotional here.

Nathan Peterman and Riley Ferguson? Did we forget about them? Both were recruited by Butch even though Peterman committed to UT while Butch was at Cincinnati.

That same national media is a fickle as the most fickle fanbase. TMZ has more professionionalism. You letting that gaggle of clucking hens cowtow you? We lose more, they pile on more...we win a big game they see promise and do a 180. I know you don't need them to reinforce YOUR disgruntlement, but quit acting like it's gospel for the rest of us. We got our own eyes and mind.

Let the season play out, going in we knew 8 and 4 or 9 and 3 at best, maybe we will have one handed to us like we gave away in the last few weeks, like the SC game last year, but we still are a very good YOUNG football team that can beat anybody we play or lose to anyone we play, the 16 team will be the season to see if we made a mistake in the coaching hire, he has gave away 2 games because of the pressure in the last 3 weeks, alot on here blame him for the Gator game last year, he didnt give that game away we just didnt have a QB, AND THE BIG if WORD, but if we didnt lose Curt and had Danny all year we would be 4 and 0, if we are going to bash him for the 2 defeats this year, then it was good coaching that won the SC last year, this team and Coach will win if given the time, he just cant lose like we did last week or like the Oklahoma game, i am thinking maybe coach Jones will grow with the team and learn how to close out a game, you are not going to win them all in this Conference, you could have a 9 and 3 record and be a top 10 team.
